Did you guys see how much fee they take for withdrawal on Cryptsy?
Until now it has been 0.06 flt per withdrawal, now its 0.06 + 0.5% of the whole amount!
200k out and they take 1000.06 flt !!! before it was 0.06 flt!!

I have never heard of that, or ever seen it happen.  It could I suppose, and surprised they do not, no problem with me one way or the other.  But FLT in it's existing build on the staking engine with the amount of coins on the exchange would kill their servers.

That's total: 2.053.138 flt

Not sure why this makes an issue, but I will repeat it Cryptsy is not staking coins, explorer may have tagged some other addresses incorrectly.  Or it is possible that it unlocked the wallet and it staked prior to it locking again if they we sending coins, but I expect they use the switch to disable the stake engine.

And there is a lot more than 2 million coins on Cryptsy.  I just bought a million the other day and another 4+ million was on the book.

We have polo and Cryptsy, and some other smaller venues.  I like having as many as possible but if you have to buy your way in, well that's lame.  They can add us if they want, but I won't lobby for an exchange unless we are down to one and fighting to trade.

You are not buying in, it is a vote system. everyone gets free votes everyday. but if someone wanted to buy more votes buy using the exchanges token (DOTs) they can do that as well. This exchange also will not list any coins that were premined or had questionable beginnings which is good for everyone...

True, but don't you find it interesting that the exchange is penalizing you to withdraw your coins?? That alone bothers many, but the fee is larger than any other exchange at this time as well which I call gouging.

True. I don't want to defend Cryptsy but I see the need to make profit in order to run the exchange. But I agree, withdrawal fees are high and it looks like you named it, a penalty for withdrawing your funds from them. Why? Don't know, there are several possible answers, I guess. I also agree that it is important to be independent of a single exchange, as the past has shown.

But that's not telling the whole story, now it's easy to "fake" volume. You can buy your own sell orders.

You can ban other users in the trollbox paying a small fee

   For me it looks like traders game with them bots (very regular line down) and someone want to drive price low, to get filled his buy orders on panic sell (dumps). As I see there are some huge orders at 25&20sat (polo) 34&31 (cryptsy). After they got filled, price will be drive back to he (they) could sell with profits - so nobody to blame, in my opinion this is just trading (plus a bit market manipulation) and this is what happening on exchanges all the time and this is just how it is. Some people have no patient and they will do dumps so as it happened this plan works.
   What we can do, just do not sell with lost, as you doing profits for "them" by this. Place buy orders bit higher then you could grab some cheap coins by dumped in to them, or buy when price is low. Also if community really care - sell coins by placing sell orders not by dumps - if everyone would do it price would go only up , but is is hard when most people (traders) care only profits not a coin, this is why community and people around are so important for the coin. But this is only my opinion.
It works this way when people buying price going up, when selling down.

That's exactly why bots should be banned from exchanges, the main purpose of them is like you say is to manipulate the markets. After the trading fee was removed from crypdsy use of bots is more aggressive and the result is crashing price of FLT and probably more coins. Trading volume increases 100 times and price drops to all time low. Ponsi anyone?

Price did drop quite a bit, I bought some more up.  Staking is solid and nothing fancy needed like hyp or tek block management.  At the moment buy FLT and stake it, I like <10k blocks in case I need to move some around, but whatever works.

need to rebuild my dev station, I had to repurpose it for another project.  Might work on it this afternoon while I am off work.
