i think it would actually set a good precident for bittrex if they return the funds. it shows scammers that this shit aint going to fly anymore, and brings alts and crypto 1 more step closer to legit-ness
we have to regulate ourselves somehow, and it is all 1 big learning process, but unless u want the govt. to step in and regulate, we must find a way to stop this shit, its already bled all the money /volume out of alts, all the scams and BS like this

ALL three accounts share the same IP!

If you want IPs, get a legal request for information, such as a court order. It's best to have a "chain of custody" so to speak when it comes to things like this. If we handed out IPs to any random who asked, and violence of some sort ended up happening, then we would be on the hook if we couldn't show a paper trail of who requested the information. If you are on the up and up and don't plan on doing anything illegal, then there shouldn't be any problems with this. Court orders (which, again, are just a legal request for information) are standard when requesting information from third parties.

Thanks for the response BadBear, would you be able to tell us if the accounts in question have overlapping log ins from the same IP?  That would answer the question without disclosing any information that could cause you legal or ethical problems.  There is a considerable amount of BTC riding on this decision, any help you can render would be greatly appreciated.

Going back, there are about 100 things i could put in one post to send to bittrex and im sure they would see the damn light. that's all chris wants, proof or a plan. You WILL lose your coin people - come together - put all this fucking info together in pastebins or something, idgafos, but seriously, you are all turning on each other like cannibals, and the carnage will just be greater for all involved. You can fork it easily, but I don't see why. Just setup a pool and disable announcements. Bring more work to your chain and announce it. Et voila, you got your fork.
Problem is this won't help anymore since the coins are already mined in the genesis block.

I'm quite sure he'll get the 350 BTC. I even want it that way.
Bittrex is the exit gate where BTC leaves the altcoin markets just right into the hands of scammers. Who knows, if they are not a part of it.

I don't care if the scammers get their booties, it's more important that Bittrex loses reputation so that this gate will be shut.
