Recent update on the new project of Flexible Science:

Flexiblecoin-FLEX  Innovation a Head

About Us:
In the past 5 years, cryptocurrency has achieved significant success, and the current market capital  have reached 6-7 Billion USD. Despite fast development, we believe cryptocurrency is still in its infancy, quite similar with the internet in the late 1990s, and there are still enormous opportunities in it. We are a group of masters and Ph.Ds working in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering majors, who have experience in cryptocurrency for 1-2 years in terms of mining. Now we believe we have made fully preparation and have decided to launch our own cryptocurrency. The coin is named "Flexible Coin" because one of the developer is a PhD developing Flexible electronics. Flexible electronics, also known as flex circuits, is a technology for assembling electronic circuits by mounting electronic devices on flexible plastic substrates, such as polyimide, PEEK or transparent conductive polyester film (definition by Wikipedia). It is a new technology which has been adopted by quite a few companies, in terms of flexible display, flexible integrated circuit, etc. and more research are done in Universities. We want to catch this trend to launch a coin named "Flexible Coin".

PoW Algorithm: X15
PoW + PoS hybrid
Confirmations for blocks to mature: 30
Re-target difficulty each block
PoW Total Blocks: 15,000 PoW blocks
Total coins: 130,000,000 FLEX
60 second block time
PoW block reward: The latest block Number
Transaction confirmations: 3
PoS Interest: 10%
PoS Min Age: 24 hrs
PoS Max age: No limit
PoS starts after 15000 Blocks
Premine: 1% of total PoW supply (For Future development and Bounties)

RPC port:22554
P2P port:22555

Block Reward Structure:

The block reward will be the Number of Last Best block found , for example if the latest block number is 500 , the block reward for the next block is 500 FLEX.This reward structure is only for POW .
We can check the sum of POW- Coins mined till now by n(n+1)/2 where "n" is the block number, we also have a statistics page in our wallet to check the coins for each block

Premine:
Premine block address to generate 1.3 Milion FLEX: FGRq4e5eiydqroAnwCn2j5f9xcy5sACXxQ

650K FLEX was moved to F8f4zFkZCWDFmWzSyPQt7DqMkQNxW18uWb,
and these 650K FLEX is further moved to FJfui9HUiRWhDrcWA3GGDvyaBCuGXXQVvP
All of them have been done in the first 24 hours after launch.

Bounty paid out to date:

30k FLEX was paid for bounty of translation (in the beginning we released bounty for translation of 10k for each translation, because there are too many translations, we decided to remove the bounty, but before we remove, some people already claim the bounty), they are paid out from FGRq4e5eiydqroAnwCn2j5f9xcy5sACXxQ

1k FLEX was paid for the Mac wallet (initially we didn't set up this bounty, but because the forum member helped us, we provided 1k FLEX to him (I also told him that we are sorry we cannot provide more because we didn't list in the bounty list and we use the premine for future projects)), The 1k FLEX was paid out from FJfui9HUiRWhDrcWA3GGDvyaBCuGXXQVvP

Currently there are two address that stores premine

1st: FGRq4e5eiydqroAnwCn2j5f9xcy5sACXxQ (held by Varun)
2nd: FApbSYB5XKTj95sLSVTE5ucihQtH8g5G5k (held by me)

p.s. Initially my coins are stored in FJfui9HUiRWhDrcWA3GGDvyaBCuGXXQVvP, when I sent 1k FLEX bounty for Mac Wallet, it automatically moves to FSPqRg5QNZyZKzseQRfBcz4L8hLJPkrt4n, and I forgot to update it last time.
Sept. 17, 2014, I send out 25,000 bounty for Logo design, and the premine address change from FSPqRg5QNZyZKzseQRfBcz4L8hLJPkrt4n to FApbSYB5XKTj95sLSVTE5ucihQtH8g5G5k

The reward structure we planned is Innovative , we want to be different

and about mining , as the initial block reward is low , we can prevent Big SOLO Miners .... Smiley

Our idea was the More you mine the Better is your reward Smiley

Yes, I get it, i just like the feeling of solo, because i am a small miner. Maybe I will rent some of the hash at the end of PoW.

The other day i saw the cellphones and tablets are flexible, i found a youtube link here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKG7XRsG9KQ

I hope you can get a real coin which can be flexible Grin

I'll be adding a Pool for this coin too, URL @ Twitter, Poolspage (see sig).

I'll add a Countdown to my Pool shortly too, would be cool if the Dev could add the Pool to the OP and check if the countdown is correct

Thank you for your support!
I will add it after you set it up.
