Un-Ex Update

One: note that Core-tanium (gotta get a better name!) now has 3.67 Btc to hand. It's a piddly sum! But that's not the point. The point is that this is a theoretical arena, and not one of our crazy ideas has gone belly up yet. Let's raise the sum to 113.67 Btc. (You think I'm kiddin'? I am not!)

We thank 'CD' -- our crypto mate Carol -- for the new 2.0 Btc..
She has never been on the Internet in her life! But, about 18 months ago, when cryptos came up in conversation, her eyes lit up: 'Say what? Non-Governmental money?'

Dang! She owns more Unobtanium than me (and it's held in our vaults).

Two: please, everyone feel free to volunteer to post Un-Ex updates over on the main thread. We must walk the line between brightening their day with positive news, and comin' across as trollish -- and . . . tee hee . . . if it's me that always posts, it seems more trollish. ('trolly'? 'trollicsome'? 'trollificacious'?)

Three: new Website coming v. soon. [Don't say that yet! Shoosh!]

Four: the Un-Ex frame-work is a reality. The next stage -- which will be, we hope, over time, a joint venture between IndiaMikeZulu and every other TT here -- will be Project Hoover/'coin wholesaling.' And we note here that IndiaMikeZulu has finally received an overdue influx of funds, about ten Btc, which will be used to 'give depth' to Un-Ex.

Woo hoo!

There are already over 160 Uno -- bought at various prices -- earmarked for sale at a discount, and there's about 8 Bitcoin comin' on line to bulk that up -- 'coin wholesaling,' you heard it first here on beautiful sunny U.N.E.X. Radio.

I forgot to ask (and sorry if I am asking in the wrong section IMZ!) if there is a market for goods and services for UNO?

Hope you are having a great weekend in Australia! Smiley

Hey, Siameze! Actually, it's good to have activity of all types here (and we [I am not in charge] would luuuurrrvvv your help to 'marshall' people from this thread to Our New Home when the time comes.

Merchants? Check here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.0

There are two more listed here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14hftnJ_crV9flLcUKaPqwEfTLKJme3R8jVeUJtudQSw/edit#gid=1234509140

And us Australians can buy silver from Tacktic (anyone can, but the postage is a problem).

But . . . we are looking for products -- physical and digital -- to sell. Any ideas?

Shall ‘Core-tanium’ become ‘Aggregated Capital’?

And I propose a change to the use of 'Core-tanium.' That is, that the Bitcoin pledged for ‘anti-dump ammo’ also be available to buy ‘incoming’ merchant coin.

Certainly, the Bitcoin pledged as anti-dump ammo is pretty much ‘locked down.’ However, if that anti-dump ammo is also available to buy merchants’ coin, those who pledge Bitcoin may well pick up good-sized ‘packets’ of Uno, which, as Uno becomes progressively rarer, may be one of the few remaining ways to buy packets of Uno.

[Guys, this will make the aggregated capital a part of Cryptoguild’s ‘coin wholesaling’ goals.]

Otherwise, ex-Core-tanium remains the same. We hope to see the amounts of fiat pledged to steadily rise, and to see amounts of other fiat currencies pledged.

http://indiamikezulu.com.au/537/shall-core-tanium-become-aggregated-capital

N.b.: guys, we are re-theorising some stuff here. The arithmetic of 'coin wholesaling' is compelling. Details to follow.

This is slightly out of left field, but i was reading this morning about Blackcoin, and blackhalo (smart contracts).
i havent read enough yet, but in his paper the dev says he could write it to work with another coin.
There are currently bithalo (BTC) and blackhalo (blackcoin).
As un-ex is trusted traders trading together.
perhaps this could establish stronger ties etc...
Create value for Uno as it could precipitate larger value propositions over time.
One store of wealth could be traded for another with smart contract.
Don't know how it would work but thought it may be an idea worth floating.
..........
Also has a decentralised exchange where any pairs are possible.
..........
As I say, I am not a tech head, these just seem like star-wars fantasies, but if they work the next few years going to be an interesting ride.
Regards,
tacktic

Tacktic -- I am not in charge -- if the basic frame-work is clear and adhered to, surely the more dynamic coiners that come to 'base themselves' on Un-Ex, the better?

And we've turned up another Australian! He phoned me last night, and he is focussed on this stuff! I'll put him in contact with you (Cairns).

Off to town me. M

Ian and I wanna organise a Google talk meetup for the halving. Details to follow. Gone to town.

m

To run a video conference call with Hangouts, we'd need to use Google's business services. Cost is $5/user per month and there's a 30-day trial period where we could sign up and see whether it works for our fledgling organisation. Conference video calls handle up to 15 active participants, the person speaking gets the main screen and the call may be broadcast to additional non-participating viewers. See link for details.

It's pretty decent value as you get more than just Hangouts (Google Apps suite, online collaboration, etc. - may suit what we're building) - but even if it was just for vid conf calls, it's not bad value.

Question, serious.
Why do crypto types spell hold incorrectly, hodl?
I have seen the typo so many times it makes my eyes bleed and my brain sorry for these young people not taught to spell in skool.
Regards,
Tacktic.
