@IMZ - as discussed in previous pages with Ian and co, 2x pics of the same subject at different angles is more than sufficient for our purposes (particularly while we're still in a 'forum' context). Looks good Smiley

No probs. If an external drive is simply what you're after, please feel free to drop me a line tomorrow afternoon my time (1pm to 4pm AEDST ideally). If you know the type of thing you want I'll be able to help point you in the right direction. If it's something more specialised, it might be an idea for Ian to shoot me a PM (or work email) so we're clear on the requirements. Happy to help in any case. Cheers.

B.N.:

One: hang in with the Nxt wallet thing. You can contact Ian if you need advice.

Two: this 'jewellery-bullion prices' thing. I urge you to keep hunting for a 'bullion-bullion' dealer -- the difference in price can be 50-100%!!

Three: yeh, Prominerone's credit is good with me too (he was here before I arrived); but the processes are about keeping the bad guys out

I believe that someone mentioned this before, but the Estonian online e-Residency would fix a lot of the security / fraud issues on UNO-Ex.

It appears that one will be able to apply without actually going to Estonia in the Spring.

Wow!

Prominerone is a known quantity -- he was here before me.

He is a TT.

He has -- I think -- satisfactorily Verified.

Could we have a 'Second!,' please?

If so, Ian should disburse two shiny new DVC tomorrow. AMENDMENT: as soon as you have an Nxt wallet address and Public Key posted.

NXT users can update now to the NRS v1.4.5 client, which will enable the Monetary System. This is a ‘hard fork’

Nxt is a pain in the tookus in some ways, but fabulous in others. At top right of the home page, you see 'NRS Version'? Click, and follow the instructions.

FYI: in official NXT Wallet 2.0.0, Tools -> Check for Updates returns latest version of Nxt client in use is 1.3.5.
Download link to NRS v1.4.5 client is here: https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-4-5/?PHPSESSID=1hq51t40si1616kp590fd482f2

cragv, you clearly understand this better than I do -- but I definitely updated to 1.4.5. from within the Nxt wallet.

Not exactly! I hadn't been using the NRS client (nor had I even heard of it - though I haven't looked closely at all into NXT beyond using it here). I haven't downloaded it yet and am still using the official NXT wallet, but will change to this one shortly if that's what people are using. If it isn't clear yet, I haven't looked into the differences between the two software applications and I may very well have some confusion over what is official, what is complimentary (think Bitcoin wallet versus Multibit, among others) and so on. At any rate, I'll check it out later today! Cheers.

I get it now. Have just installed 1.4.5 and can see this is a java-based wallet that works through a web browser (local). The 2.0.0 wallet I've been using is a Windows executable application. Both work correctly as they both work with the same block chain. Thus, use what you want to use. All good!
