So I have 2.0.0 version. Did I need to have 1.4.5  -  I guess yes?

You have the Windows executable version. The 1.4.5 update applies to the web broswer-based Java one. You shouldn't need an update (and you can check me on this by clicking Tools -> Check for Updates).

When i start the 2.0.0 wallet it's asking me to dawnload the newest version. When I try to upgrade it gives me:
NRS server has exited and it shuts down the wallet.

The Nxt wallet will prove itself in the long run (I pulled 2,000 Nxt profit from the exchange just yesterday, to put some buy-support up for Uno.); but it has also been a hassle.

Also, I've just opened my NXT Wallet 2.0.0 for the first time in a few days and I've finally been prompted for the 1.4.5 update, so prominerone, it turns out you do need to have 1.4.5 after all AND it should automatically ask you. Sorry for the confusion there!!

Thanks Mark, UNO received. DVC will be sent in probably 6-ish hours on account of flaky internet in the storms here (NXT wallet update keeps failing, will retry when weather is calm again later tonight, else tomorrow latest). Thanks!

Ian and I have agonised over This Blasted Nxt Wallet Thing. We are Nxt fans. We aren't secret Nxt trolls. We think that, as this community moves to a sort of Traders Incorporated/The Mall model, the benefits (trading assets) will outwiegh the unarguable pain-in-the-toosh-ness of setting up this client.
