Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

I do not know if this thread is still active, but I have an associate that is interested in buying a chunk of $UNO. If someone is interested in selling some, please PM to let me know how much at what rate.
This individual is brand new to the Unoverse...
EDIT:
Also, since the individual has no track record, I will be glad to operate as intermediary / escrow.

Good heavens, there are quite current posts! I no longer hold Uno; but IndiaMikeZulu is still running a P2P site here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1579087.0[Certainly the Uno guys have my blessing to develop the Un-Ex itself.]

No need to ignore you.
Last week I was discussing the potential for systemic Bitcoin value crash and possible deterioration of the network. It pays to be pragmatic and sometimes even vicious. As long as at the end of the day we maintain a core value of logic and sensibility, being dark and gloomy opens up potential analysis avenues that would be closed to a more positive (possibly naive and self congratulatory) outlooks.

Side note. The slowest thing I've ever had a NXT wallet on was a Quad ore AMD with 4 GB Ram. It worked ok, but in those days the client was a nightmare with a ton if issues regardless of machine.
Maybe check that you have both 32 and 64 bit java's or the relevant java installed. I always though 32bit installed by default but I only ever look into these things if they don't work for me or a client. Most of my clients think java is a metrosexual word for coffee.

Email isn't private unless you use encryption/PGP /etc., but honestly you should be safe enough using PM here for the transfer. The other option could be to take a photo of the card's PIN and share it privately on imgur, for example - only the recipient gets the share via email. Or, upload a text file on mega.co.nz and PM the url and email the encryption key, so you'd need both to access it. More than one way to skin this cat!

Absolutely security is the prime concern, and as it stands thee "old school" trade methods are indeed secure to a point. (Not knocking that).
With so many exchanges getting "hacked" and markets pulling exit scams it is refreshing to see a group of people that just want to do honest trading.

Un-ex is unique idea as Uno. We can do great things with it. I watching you guys from the beginning of Un-ex. You got the magic inside you. I have very good hunch for the Un-ex future.

Well-put, thanks for that, Mark. Timely, too - I'm currently tussling with anonymity and identity in a trust-centric community. How much of each is required, who knows what, how things are quantified, how outliers are managed, what can be automated and what should remain a manual process, etc. Having fun with it while I have the time to think without distractions for once!
