Welcome to the Unobtanium in-house exchange -- 'Un-Ex'

Community-Driven Big Ideas

This thread is basically an experiment in trust-networking in a crypto community. Anyone is welcome to become a member, and then trade here.

What do we trade?

We trade bullion and various cryptos for Uno. Significantly, Trusted Traders can sell large quantities of Uno (or other) coin ‘into’ the core community.

There is also an ‘in-house’ currency, ‘Distributed-Vault Coin.’ It’s unique because it’s traded only here, and a newcomer must satisfy some requirements to be issued with it -- 'Verification'

[We’re still developing the Verification process. A newcomer makes three initial trades, and thus becomes a ‘Trusted Trader.’ We look to see some further posts and trades. A couple more trades will get that TT a second star: one-star, two stars . . . up to five.

Then, if a TT wants to be involved in the DVC experiment, they pledge to hold small quantities of bullion, and post several pictures of that bullion (though there are other ways of Verifying).

At that point, all things being equal, that TT will be ‘issued’ with 1 or 2 DVC. There is no cost. The ‘payment’ is that you continue to hold the bullion, and that you be prepared to re-Verify if called upon. This is the ‘distributed vault.’]

Readers, with respect, we make no apologies about the exclusive nature of this project. We expect to develop it into a multi-million-dollar enterprise.

Underway: discussions with the coiners at Dnotes, which might be a suitable stable-mate for a crypto commodity like Uno. (First trades of Dotes for Uno and silver)

Underway: 'coin wholesaling,' in theory and tentative practice, to provide liquidity in the 'core-community' Unobtanium market.

Underway: finding and listing merchants who will give discounts to Trusted Traders -- two so far

Achieved: launch of our independent Website, 'Cryptoguild.com.'

Achieved: first 100-Uno trade (on Cryptoguild). The Unobtanium was sold at a small discount.

Acheived: issue of 20th DVC (with 'equity DVC' coming in May)

Achieved: updates of trade-tracker

Acheived: improved confirmation-of-trades protocol

Achieved: first contributions to 'Core-tanium,' a system that provides 'anti-dumping ammo' (in BTC and $).

Achieved: first use of a 'liquidity engine,' which will allow merchants who've received Uno to quickly and easily convert that Uno to cryptos or fiat

Achieved: Direct-Purchase-of-Newly-Mined-Unobtanium Programme: funds to buy newly-mined Unobtanium at a premium are available now.

Achieved: Version One of a 'trade-ticker' that manages the (P2P) trades
