May I suggest that a way to "confirm" the possession of the Hedges would be a situation in which the prior holder (in this case IMZ) posts the new holder's Hedge and handle. Then the TT (in this case Bitcoin Charlie) quotes the prior holder's post to confirm the transfer. Finally, the new holder quotes the TT's post to immortalize it from being changed / deleted?

All of this being done until someone figures out how to post it to the blockchain?

Just my thought, B.C.! We could follow our present practice of creating a Trade Number. So, if Bitcoin Bob buys 'Hedge003/IMZ' in Trade XYZ, then after Btc Bob's Uno turns up in my wallet, I post:

'Trade XYZ complete: Hedge 003/Bitcoin Bob' -- that is, the owner of any given Hedge at any time is the name standing after the forward slash.
