In general, I agree with this position.  However, in our UNO Trusted Trader realm, I believe that individuals can safely transact PayPal, Green Dot, Branded Gift Cards, etc. for UNO.  However, it takes time to build up the trust with crypto trades prior to taking the PayPal plunge.

If my reputation is worth anything, I strongly discourage anyone trade with PayPal.  They've stolen my coins, before, and many others' and basically de facto condone people stealing cryptos with 'stolen' money, thus the notorious PayPal chargebacks.  It's a repressive pattern against cryptocurrencies, their #1 forthcoming competition.

Let's keep UNO clean, please.  PayPal is disgusting.

This doesn't sound too unresonable, despite my strong position on the subject.  DON'T WE HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS BESIDES PayPill?  Trusted or not - let's stay away from PayPal. 

They are basically as bad as people who hacked exchanges or ran the ones that ran off with client funds!  Are these the peole you really want to do business with, my dear Unobtanium community people?

The benefit is that Paypal allows you to draw cash via ATM ... ie ... if I am paying you paypal then you can literally turn UNO into cash.

All is caveat emptor. Personal responsibility and vetting. We are building a system of trust here.

I would not do a PayPal transaction with someone new to the forum with also a newbie rating on bitcointalk.  However, I might do one with a member of the community that has been around for quite some time with or without TT status.

While I am not for PayPal transactions, I am more for the freedom to transact in any fashion that two parties are in agreement, whether that be crypto, cash, gift cards, labor, illicit substances, precious metals, PayPal, clothing, the list goes on...

I hate PayPal as most of you too I'm sure, maybe even more so. I happen to have funds available there so it would be ideal. I understand I don't have a rating but I have to start somewhere. Looking to get into Uno for the long hodl.

I can do pay forward deals if trust is an issue.

EXAMPLE >> I pay $ via paypal for fixed amount of UNO.  After XX days you issue delivery.

But I am 99% certain that if I pay via 'gift' then a chargeback is impossible.  Must comb the PP rules, but logic is I can not claim goods undelivered because I granted a 'gift' payment. (also free if memory serves correct).  

NOTE ... in a couple of hours I can't trade until Sunday (out of town I go) ... but offer above remains open.
