Hey, Martin. Yeh, 'hard-won' is the term we use. Even a two- or three-star rating takes time. I only have a two-star rating. The highest is four stars.

hey guys. The hedges aren't explained anywhere, are they? Would maybe not be bad to make a short summary/introduction for noobs to read. I think outsiders would have a hard time to fully understand what you are actually doing here let alone participating in it otherwise Little introduction linked somewhere to how to trade hedges and how they are backed would be nice maybe?

Mark - take down your bid. We are all grownups, and you shouldn't do this halfway through the experiment. I could understand you taking a loss by your own decision at the end of it, but even that shouldn't be done. (If you must have a bid, make it less than your ask at least~!) Just cancel it, please. (Unless you know something about silver we don't know. ) - Maybe give Uno the Emu a sultana whenever you feel like taking a loss, and just forget about doing that, K? Uno needs to grow up to be big and strong, like her namesake. (Uno is a female, right? How can you tell on Emus, anyway?)

Hmmm . . . well, okay. Silver's drop in price -- across the short period of Phase One -- will render the experiment a failure. I'll ask your advice again shortly.
Intro to Sexing Emus:
newly-hatched chicks, B., can be haphazardly told apart by the patterns on their heads. Serious breeders pay for DNA testing. Otherwise, you wait until they are about two -- adult -- and then the females make an unmistakeable noise.
Uno will remain a sultana-scoffing 'it' until he/she's about as tall as you are.

Keep pluggin' away at this model, B.N., both for your sake and for Uno's. An otc fiat-Uno portal of any form is a fine development. I hope that we eventually have a thriving Australian community in which we buy and sell Uno via Internet-banking. We did trials on this (with Yacoin, in its heyday): http://yacoinaustralia.com.au/m
