Is it possible to maybe wait a bit with the 250k bet? Because the DDoSer knows when it will be back up so he can place the 250k bet way easier and this would be cheating.

The bets are not affected at all by the DDoS. The ddoser cannot use it to target the 250k. It just makes the website frontend hardly reachable. |
Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".
