"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed
timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It
takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but
hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

1.) TilePay/Counterwallet Downtime
We are experiencing some down time right now because we are using Counterwallet to verify balances, etc...
We will keep you posted when everything is back to normal.
There will be some strategic updates that will follow soon as well.

Bro, I never left. Hope you are doing well. Check this article on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2yjyrk/secretive_bitcoin_startup_21_reveals_record_funds/I didn't know about 21.Inc. until today, but they are interested in IoT related applications like Tilepay. Pantera Capital is also focused in this area of IoT and Micropayments. Tilepay has a promising future if the word can spread to the right people.

Only time will tell the future for the next Bitcoin 2.0 platform.

I see a great incentive to hold Tilecoin when the IoT service world takes off.

FoldingCoin

March 14, 2015, 05:51:25 PM |

Hello! My name is Robert and I am the Director of FoldingCoin Inc (XCP.FLDC) http://foldingcoin.net/Here is our bitcointalk forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=781352.0I was wondering if this communities development team would be interested in doing a promotional giveaway of TILECOINX on the Merged Folding platform. We have just recently formed a partnership with Spells of Genesis http://www.spellsofgenesis.com/ to giveaway BITCRYSTALS on the Merged Folding platform. Already 5 Counterparty TOKENs are distributed on our platform http://foldingcoin.net/merged-folding/This would be a great way to inform those about your project and at the same time bring more adoption to the FAH network. Here is exactly what FoldingCoin helps to promote: FoldingCoin (FLDC) helps battle diseases like cancer and Alzheimer by contributing to the Stanford's Folding@Home network. FLDC is a coin that rewards volunteers for contributing to this initiative. FoldingCoin is distributed on a daily basis, based on the individual contributions. Folding@home is a long running project (2000) from the folks of Stanford University that lets your spare CPU or GPU simulate complex protein folding. The results of all this distributed computation is tabulated and analyzed, to help new find new medicines and cures to be derived to some of the worst diseases faced by man. But there's a problem. There's no reward for sharing your computer cycles in this way. You can join a team and you can earn points, but there is no profit motive to help with research. By introducing crypto currency to non profit grid computing, the computational power used in Altcoin mining could be harnessed for more humanitarian efforts. Point your hardware at the Folding@home network developed by Stanford University by downloading the FAH client at the top of the page. The FAH client then sends your CPU or GPU something called Work Units (WU) that represent the protein folds that are being worked on. Once your computer is done finishing the folds, the results are sent back to the FAH servers and you computer is sent another WU to complete. The FAH client only interacts with the FAH files and no personal files on your PC. Please look at our tutorial page for more information on how everything works.
