sorry for the misunderstanding and confusion.
but with CP team assistance, XTC is a legit and established app.
i am glad to hold a legit asset in this chaotic crypto land.
Counterparty is NOT involved in ANY regard with XTC/Tilecoin. We are not "vouching" for anything one way or another, and I was only made aware of this project a few days ago. ASIC-8tile reached out to me to ask me to look at an element of their technical design. I am no longer interested in doing so, given that a) I was asked to look at something as a favor without being told it was a tilecoin client, and then my "involvement" was marketed to the thread without me being aware, and b) the Tilecoin community reaction to my PM response was publicly posted and trolled, and then misinterpreted. Very good very period

@altcoinUK You are an angel ? No. The shit want to sell Gadgetcoin to you. Fuck off with GadgetCoin. I was very critical with them as well, like with every coin that seems a scam, and then I can change my mind and support any coins with good technology. Check my post and you will see I am not afraid to admit if I am wrong about something (like the concept of decentralized market place). I am buying/selling every coin that has a viable technology ... most notably Bitcoin and Viacoin, that's how I know btcdrak and Counterparty and that's why it was surprising the Counterparty developer's reaction in this thread.

Thanks for the civil post. I think the moral of this unfortunate encounter between me and the boys who push TileCoin very-very hard is very much related to what @xnova said: "the Tilecoin community reaction to my PM response was publicly posted and trolled, and then misinterpreted."I was really interested in your Internet of Things offering, I really think that could be a winner use case, but the attitude of the boys here, the hype making and pushing the case disparately the indicator of an orchestrated operation, this looks like when a few guys try to sell a coin by utilizing the army of secondary and third accounts. Such reaction put off @xnova as well.

Community Supporters/Trolls/Disbelievers I think that everyone should take a little step back and stop the "scam" accusations. This is very childish and not viewed upon as professional/respectable behaviour. The IoT is in development. Xnova is NOT involved in the project. I simply wanted their "blessing" and "review" because the wallet can locally keep all private keys for tokens created via Counterparty. Seems like now he will not review because of the reaction from the "scammer"/"trolls" on this thread. Thanks, but we will move forward. I think the "scam" are those that are trying to manipulate all others. Manipulation and FUD unfortunately wreak havoc in this forum and it is very sad to see. Disappointed in the reaction of most people in this thread. Look within yourselves and ask yourself if you are honest. Watch what will happen when we become the first IoT enabled monetization network using bitcoin. I can assure everyone that they will take their words back. Code update. Regards, ASIC-8Tile

Regards, ASIC-8Tile Thanks for the update, clarification and making clear what Counterparty's and the developers of Counterparty role in the project, and I have to admit you are absolutely right about that we need to be careful with premature conclusions and statements about scam, and we shouldn't put on any honest operation the scam label. Still, your cheerleader brigade act like oversensitive scammers and that's a bigger issue for you than the "FUD". Keep innovating, if you innovate and deliver that will counter-attack all disbelieves and skepticism.

the only cheerleader brigade here is those damn Chinese investors, they keep posting irrelevant posts which don't even make sense.
the rest of us are just here to support tilecoin.
keep up the top work ASIC-8Tile!
we managed 80btc of volume today, which is 10% of bter's entire volume. amazing.

Sad to say, but most of it is dumps.... All you see is massive manipulation of price Bottom line - there is nothing to show really, so it is impossible to set any intrinsic value to the coin Only promises that might be fulfilled one day So it is for the speculators and manipulators to fight As the rest of ppl here, I do hope the project will be proven legit

I doubt very much that your IQ, and your purpose
Your doubts have absolutely no relevance to the fact that the Counterparty developer has just confirmed that this is a scam, and to opposite what was claimed it has nothing to do with Counterparty, and therefore it has no decentralized application engine whatsoever. It's a scam. Period. I haven't confirmed anything. I simply stated that I didn't like how we were engaged on looking at this project. Is the project a "scam"? I don't know, and that's not our call to make, or be involved with making. I will say that it *seems* that the project has some written code and technology, which is more than 95% of the projects in the alt coin space. IF we had any involvement, it would simply be to look at the technical design as far as it integrates with Counterparty, and give purely technical advice. That's all. We have done this for numerous projects building on Counterparty and it's never been a big deal, but it seems that some individuals in this community have a problem properly understanding what that means, and what it doesn't mean. I am not specifically familiar with Tilecoin or their technology, and so cannot comment further. But given the reaction and misinterpretation of this forum to any kind of minimal tech review (interpreting the lack of it Tilecoin being a "scam", and the presence of it as the Counterparty developers putting their reputation on the line for Tilecoin) I am very hesitant to get Counterparty involved in any way, as it will be mis-construed.

i can imagine this system working for a clocking-in & clocking-out style wages for large companies. which would save an incredible amount of money, completely cutting the office workers which handle pays and accounting, no one even needs to add up the hours you worked, its all in the blockchain once you have tagged in/out for the day.
excellent updates, if you want im pretty handy with solidworks i can rasterize and pretty up that industrial enclosure if needed, just for visuals for the thread.
