1.1) Create an account via https://testnet.counterwallet.io
1.2) Open and run .jar file
1.3) Request testnet bitcoins and send to https://testnet.counterwallet.io address
1.4) Burn BTC for XCP and then "Create Asset (Token)
1.5) Send tokens to new Tilepay local wallet

The SPV implementation is for bitcoin at the moment. The "metacoin" spv implementation that could be used for XCP/MSC (metacoins) is being worked on by MIT. It is called VerSum.

December 5, 2014 - Development Updates

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

impressed with the function and design. no major issues found but only some newbie installation questions. hope we have a thorough guide when mainnet is out.

our concerns for future are as below.

1.  we saw many function tabs on the interface.  bills/exchange/loans/club/gateway.  merchants.......

when will these function come? any roadmap?

Right now this "wallet" is a SPV client for btc/xcp.

2. any update of IoT Dapp?

3. how long will testing last?

4. when mainnet comes out

5. press release schedule

6. comparison to other 2nd generation "coins"

7. marketing plan?
8. ventures

we saw a big future for this project. Thanks for your hardworking.

we are collecting some suggestions from user's perspective. like.

1. do we nee confirmation no. in "Transaction History"
2. "You can drag and drop your address" is not working properly. but copy and paste Icon on receiving address is working fine.
to be continued.

mate. we all tested successfully.

This project is going to be super-wallet for btc and other btc-based tokens. That makes endless IoT Dapp possible.

XTC dwarf many creepy coins.

My thoughts exactly, Cyber.

The main thing is that we are at the forefront of witnessing something new and innovative in the crypto-world. All kudos to Asic, of course.

Everything is positive!

this project brings dignity to ppl /team/nations involved in Crypto-world.

all for btc, all for ppl.

even ppl who has no xtc or xcp may be wiliing to use this neatly design wallet.

expecting more updates.

i get the feeling theres a whole lot of insider trading going on here from the dev.

ASIC you need to be more active here. you need to tell people whats going on, considering your original release date was over 2 months ago, which then turned into "delayed by 1 week" then turned into no words at all. you need to be clear and confident on a release date. if you don't know one, state exactly that.

ASIC explained every delay, and testnet is proved very impressive. New things will take some time, and XTC will certainly disrupt the crypto land.

A super light btc+xcp friendly wallet and more things are coming.....

Bitcoin Core Developer Greg Maxwell Has ‘Ethical Concerns’ with Altcoins

By Kyle Torpey Dec 3, 2014 12:25 PM EST
bitcoin sidechains

NEW YORK (InsideBitcoins) — At the recent Future of Money and Technology Summit in San Francisco, a panel featuring Andrew Barisser of Assembly, Greg Maxwell of Blockstream, and Nicholas Thorne of BlockSign was asked whether there should be one blockchain or many blockchains in the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

The viability of altcoins and appcoins has been a topic of some debate over the past year, and the plans by Maxwell’s Blockstream to enable sidechains as a way to bring an endless number of new features to bitcoin has taken the polarization of this debate to another level. Maxwell is also a core developer on the bitcoin protocol, and he shared some of his thoughts on why altchains, but not altcoins, could be the future of digital currency.
