This thing still alive? Will be old wallet even sync to the old? Having trouble compiling it from github under debian jessie. Rather not trust binaries....

There was another reply here claiming they mined only rejects - but it was deleted later - so what's the deal?

Long time... see some activity in this coin now... Hey poker26 and matory -- looking here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=766417.0;all  says it has a new genesis block. So this isnt the same ELC that was originally launched that I curated the code for long ago, completely new blockchain since the rerelease?

Good thing there's a year in that datestamp.

So how did poker hold onto all his old coins from the old blockchain?

I didn't understand... is this coin still alive or not?
I see it's still traded on Cryptopia and the website is still alive.
Is the dev still around here?
I have elacoin-qt v0.6.3.0-gfbb005d-beta and no sync.
Is there a new ver of the wallet? Any node?
Thank you.

Traded in Cryptopia (https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=ELC_BTC)  and Yobit (https://yobit.net/en/trade/ELC/BTC).

Code:
addnode=51.255.13.23
addnode=66.70.222.241
addnode=86.176.38.237
addnode=195.114.136.76
addnode=108.170.1.134
addnode=94.180.232.120
addnode=85.236.188.28
addnode=151.20.204.101
addnode=217.118.93.104
addnode=128.72.173.185

You can insert all nodes of explorer http://51.255.13.23:30004/network

You need 0.6.6 wallet, after the hardfork (diff adjust and scrypt-N) see here:

Could someone please give this guy a straight answer. Yes, or No. Is this the same ELC that was originally launched?

It's the same blockchain, if you had coins in 2013 you still have coins now (you need 0.6.6 wallet).
But, it's not "that was originally launched" after the hardfork (Scrypt-N + fast diff adjust). Like Bitcoin and others after "soft" and hardforks...

Cryptopia delisting ELC:

Quote
Dear Cryptopians,

You are receiving this automated email because we have identified that you have a balance or deposit address for one or more of the following coins.

As of today (May 7th), the below coins have been put into delisting.

We are delisting these coins as they have ongoing technical problems such as no working Block Explorer and we want to ensure our customers have access to digital tokens that continue to meet our coin listing criteria and have a properly functioning blockchain and wallet. To ensure your funds are safe and off the exchange before these coins are removed, for those where it is possible we recommend withdrawing these coins from the exchange immediately. Prior to withdrawing, we recommend checking the CoinInfo page as to the status of the coin.

PLEASE NOTE: The coins marked with an asterisk (*) have significantly broken blockchains or wallets that will not allow withdrawals. In those cases, the inability to withdraw your balance is not due to Cryptopia but caused by a problem with the underlying Blockchain or Wallet associated with that coin. Please do NOT contact us about these as there is nothing we can do to assist. These coins/projects are effectively abandoned.
...

    ElaCoin (ELC)

  ...

These coins will be fully delisted one month from today (the last day for all these coins on the exchange being June 7th).

Any issues or questions regarding these delistings should be sent directly to the developers of the respective coins.

Kind Regards,

The Cryptopia Team

What "ongoing technical problems"?

But Block Height is correct.

Coins may face delisting for the following reasons:
1. Sufficient nodes are not maintained to keep the network synced and moving.
2. A coinswap.
3. Any network issues or bugs that could result in loss of user funds.
4. Statements made by a coin or coin community that could bring the reputation of Cryptoipa into disrepute.

More info: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/620

Someone knows the delisting reason ?
