Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Don't forget,

ELC is open for mining since last year at CoinMiners Altcoin Pool.

The business seems rather budding.
Plausible business, absorbing job, wondrous website.

Most of the coins have a very short life, because they have not been published before, and those who use its unique are early adopters. This project will make transactions more convenient, I like it

Cryptopia new delisting warning in 10/01/2019, unknown reason.

Quote
After conducting a thorough review, it has been determined that the below coin(s) no longer comply and as such, we are delisting:

    ELC

For further information regarding Cryptopia's delisting guidelines, our full policy can be viewed here: Delisting Policy.

Please note that we will permanently delist the above coin(s) on 9 November 2018. Trade markets are now closed, and we recommend cancelling any open orders. To ensure your funds are off the exchange before the above coin(s) is removed, please withdraw any balances to a compatible wallet at your earliest convenience. Any queries or issues locating a compatible wallet or block explorer should be directed to the coin's development team. Please refer to our Delisting article for more information here

Elacoin-ELC,Betacoin-BET,Neutroncoin-NTRN,Americancoin-AMC,Stronghands-SHND,Craftcoin-CRC,DOGE,BCH,BTC,...,Bitcoin,...(and a lot more)
Linux updated wallets (source code) for: ELC, BET, AMC, NKT, SLING, CRC,...
[if (blocknumber > 115000) maxblocksize=largerlimit]   [I don't think the threshold should ever be 0.  We should always allow at least some free transactions.]

Hi Everyone. Maybe we should fill the listing form for NovaExchange concerning Elacoin.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdRNwypA-6DiWqsX4-VuWYKdM0mMyL8COUuvQoqkm1AaVA45Q/viewform

They are gonna re-opening the 3 december 2018 ...

https://novaexchange.com/

Cryptopia isn't a serious site anymore. They decided alone to remove few small coins as Elacoin. However, selling small coins was the main Cryptopia's Business model before.
They thinking they're going to compete with Binance or Bittrex by delisting coins unilaterally ...

PS : I made an article about Elacoin (in French)

ELC was traded in this platform. Low volume trade, then one year ago they changed the owner, low volume in all coins market.

Hi Guys,

Is there anyone out there who has a working, synced windows 7 wallet?
If so, could you please help me out.

I have tried every version of Elacoin-Qt.exe i can find, and ever version of "libwinpthread-1.dll" i can find (most have bad viruses), and every time i lanuch the wallet, it
1) Fails
or
2) Open, starts to sync, then shuts after approx 1-2 seconds.

Surely out of all you amazing guys, someone can help me with this?

Thanks
J

Update
The wallet sometimes starts to sync with blocks 400,000 ish, other times starts to sync with 1,125,000 blocks, any ideas?
