ROI on the S15 is really good Grin at this rate it will be paid off in 6 months (realistically 9 months with difficulty increase over time, but I'll probably just sell my shares before that)

What happened to the LTC L3 Miners? They were still profitable and currently are as well, but seems the entire section is removed and no coupon option like with the S9, which is also currently profitable.

When PPS payout is lower than maintenance fee for a period of ten continuous days, the agreement is terminated. Due to S9 and L3 miners were not profitable, they were retired. If you have more than 1250GH S9 hashrates, please redeem your coupon here https://www.hashnest.com/currency_coupons

This coupon can be used on HashNest shop to purchase new S15 miner. Only one coupon can be used for one S15 miner. Coupons may not be transferred, sold or redeemed for cash. Each coupon is valid for 90 days from date of issue.

We care about our valued customers seriously, please contact us here: https://support.hashnest.com/hc/en-us/requests/new, if you have other concerns.

Today it was announced, that China is planning to ban all mining operation. How is Hashnest affected by this move? Are all Hashnest miners located in China? Are there any plans to what will happen with the rented mining power?

We are not affected at present, according to our global management strategy, we have partners out of China.

ROI on the S15 is really good Grin at this rate it will be paid off in 6 months (realistically 9 months with difficulty increase over time, but I'll probably just sell my shares before that)

Are you considering that the maintenance fee will be increasing in a few days?   Until 4/20 the fee is based on $0.06/kwh electricity.   The price will go back to the normal $0.075/kwh electricity.    That means the maintenance fee will probably be around $0.109375 / TH / day.   The S15 will still be profitable at the current BTC prices, but the amount of time to ROI will be impacted.

Full disclaimer:   I sold my S15 hashes yesterday.   I only had around 145 TH, but still it wasn't easy to sell out as the market is still pretty thin.   I'm expecting to be able to buy back in next week under 0.006 TH/BTC next week.  I could be wrong, I often seen pricing that defies what I expect.  However typically the price of hashes tends to be around what gives 180 days ROI at the current difficultly.    (Currently the pricing seems to be higher than 180 day ROI)

Now that there are more choices for sha-256 mining, we may see more modest difficulty growth.  However if the price of BTC climbs one would expect the difficulty to climb.

Personally I have a mixed history with cloud based mining.   I've done extremely well at times and I've lost my shirt other times.    If people are mostly successful at HASHNEST it would be great to hear how you do it.

For the record every time I've played just growing my hash rate game, I've lost big.   Strangely the best I every did HASHNEST is when I just gave up and decided it wasn't even worth my trouble to sell.   I didn't log in for months, maybe a year and when I did I had actually mined a full bitcoin.   So maybe not worrying about selling is smarter than trying to avoid a possible quick price drop that I'm expecting.   However over the long term I always expect the price of hashing to generally decline.

its to early to sell now, u have to buy and hold untill the units are out of stock, and if btc goes to 6.8K or later this year to 8.5K, and if there is no stock, prices are really x2 or x3 or even x4, that happen with L3, i expect same thing with Zec machines, x4 if they are out of stock, and if btc goes to +6K, which i think it will go, so best way to do it is to wait to be out of stock and then wait 2-3 month, and then sell, but if they restock, prices can plunge haha

i hope the zec machines or s17 stock wont diminish in few days...

If I no longer have access to the phone number for 2FA, is there any method of logging in?
I still remember the full phone number and have previous texts and login dates still saved.
I understand if not, as that's the entire point of 2FA.

The stock isn't selling well because it is now too expensive.   I bought 5 of them but by the time I got them the price was already around 0.007 btc/TH.   $980/28TH ==> $35/TH ==> 0.00693 BTC/TH.   The free market is below that now.   It seems the last 43 S15 units will only sell when people make mistakes or if HASHNEST lowers the price, or maybe because there is spike in LTC prices and people buy in LTC.

I agree it was early to sell.  I only did it because I had a chance to do it.   So many times I've waited and the market price dropped much faster than the mining returns with cloud mining.   This has happened at every cloud mining site that had a free market, starting with $CEX.   Granted there are times when the pricing defies logic at every site.   My current thinking is those are the times to buy/sell.

You point out the BTC price can go up and that would make a difference.  That is true, but we could be stuck at the current price range for days or it could even go down some.   However if BTC price sores, so will the difficulty and then the mining rewards decline.   However it might be enough to sell out the remaining units.    At even $7000 BTC the $35/TH would be 0.005 BTC/TH.

The market history hasn't been updating for days.  Too bad.   From what I've seen the price starts very high and then drops quickly to near the actual price point and then tends to drift down over time.   I have seen huge price spikes but those seem to be more of when the price was greatly depressed because the maintenance fees were almost 100% and then the price of BTC or LTC went up enough to reduce the maintenance fee.   I don't think the stock situation has much impact except for the very beginning.  I would expect the S17 to start trading very high, but it is probably already too late to get in on that as there is a 20 day pre-order.   By May 6th the real crazy high prices will be mostly gone.   Maybe I should have bought a couple units a few days ago.

Their phone authentication doesn't actually work anymore. If I were you, I'd just make a new account if the old one was empty.

The might just get you to sign a deposit address otherwise.

It doesn't seem to work, I just get "There was an error processing your request. Please try again later."

Anyway the price history chart for S15 has been stuck for days.   Seems like someone should be checking on the site everyday.

the reason i dont wanna change my phone, and i have a new one, is 2fa for all the sites i seted, arround 10 minimum, i have no energy to do that,..i rather have 2 numbers for phone,...
anyway its slow back into the place the hashnest, this bear trend kinda make a lot of users angry, but hey do you think i havent lost anything,...i did so what? ...and confidence is still to be build,...which is hard, but if bear turns bull, we can profit a lot, but so can we with margin longs or trading, ....all involves a risk..

here is inverted btc chart:
