Soooo, just curious, why is my BTC balance in the negatives? More than the accounting error gave in the positive as well?

My balance may be right so it's not for exery account. Its disapointing that on of the main mining firms can't even send numbers within itself without issues now...

Glad to hear! Did you get one of the huge payouts on the BTC miners at first, where the luck seemed to be probably around 10x higher payout than normal? Now I've paid that back it seems today, and then around 20% more and growing.

I'm not entirely sure... I wanted to work out how much profit I could make so I just bought 1 S15 hash. I put a lot on bitdeer 100 days ago so didn't have much left.
I bought my hashes a few days ago and am on +0.2mbtc but I'm not sure that's helpful...

Not that we are finding excuses, haha, but this time, it was Antpool who gave us the faulty data

Thanks, yes I read it, but when will the payout adjustment be made or fixed? I see the balance is going up, however it is still a negative value, more negative than I gained extra from the flaw in the PPLNS. So right now, I basically have to work off a debt, after already going 3 days without mining income.

If you account is still negative it must be because you did a withdraw or you used the BTC someway. So you are really mining back what you used or took. I'm not happy with what happened or the Hashnest attitude towards it. Hashnest messed up, they should have been more on the ball in the first place and the problem should never have got to the point that it did. Maybe Antpool sent faultly data but it is Hashnest that messed up.

Which is why we are doing our best to restore the data ASAP. Our technical team has been working day and night these few days to overwrite the faulty data, establishing the new ones and setting up new payouts. We are also hoping that we can recover quickly. Antpool did not update their data transmission to ours leading to us giving payouts 10 to 20x than original, but the payouts they gave to us were not, hence over the weekend we overpaid our users by 10-20x We are aligning everything together again so that the losses can be minimised without inflicting too much on our users. It’s very messed up and we are very sorry for it.

Well it sort of isn't completely your fault. Maybe you light to get more koneybfromantpool, they can surely afford the 10x payouts and its an easy fix... If you have to pay more now you won't make the same mistake again...
How many technicians do you have and how many users do you have? Maybe you should ask antpool/bitmain for more temporarily to fix this issue... Or just try doing a bulk database fill based on the hashes everyone had and how much you got.

I could understand a few hours, but a few days shows that no one was paying attention. It has been almost a week now and we are still seeing our balances reduced even though we have been receiving PPS payments. It seems more of a mess is being made. Faulty data is an issue, messing it up big time though is Hashnet's fault.

We are on our own this time! Fixing this is quite complex as we do not just fix the data transmission and remove that’s given extra. We will to roll back everything to the past week and run the correct data again. Hashnest is a small but very functional team now, so we thank everyone for being patient with us.

Faulty data is an issue, messing it up big time though is Hashnet's fault. In our defence, we did ask Antpool if the super high payouts were normal, in which they said it was normal as they are in very good luck the past week. Everyone, including us, was beyond thrilled as we see those numbers soaring so high. We did a check just in case, only to find out the data transmission was faulty. It’s definitely a huge negligence on our part, we are sorry and we are not going to just fault Antpool. We ourselves have also learnt a huge lesson (with a huge loss) and we are now, on top of fixing the errors, also building a more resilient system.

Yeah it's always been a pretty small team... Bit of a shame you can't get more people from antpool though I guess it shouldn't be too much of a problem to be solvable within a week and allow withdrawals again. Let us know when the rewind is over and successful?
