Yes, thank you!  My base reward is up to >1400/hour...you've really upped the base reward, is what I'm saying! :p It's awesome that you can pay so much more than most other faucets and still (hopefully?) turn a profit. You, sir, seem to have the faucet game on lock. My 35 refs appear to agree! Thanks again! |

Blame the botters. Sure we could just keep funneling BTC into the wallet and they'd keep siphoning it until the point where we can't operate anymore, or we can take care of the 25,000+ accounts BEFORE funding the wallet so that legit users can get paid. I'm sorry you don't get paid as quickly as we'd like, but it is what it is and we can't afford to pay bots with the payout rates we have.
Well said! Keep up the great work.  Thanks! The bottom line is, my name is on the domain registration. Show me one other faucet that has a public registration. We use the site to help my autistic son and there's zero incentive for us to rip anyone off. It's for fun and if we ever did close up shop so to speak, we'd make sure to pay out balances before shutting off the lights. Have a good one everyone! If it's a btc address, they are now going out weekly if your balance is above 10k, for the prevuous week. This gives us time to catch bots before they steal your satoshis. The payout button is really for xapo users who incur a balance somehow.

We had to switch to paying 1 week in arrears to have time to ban the bots instead of paying them BTC that belongs to legit players. |

So yeah, I think we might be a little behind here, but I just read that Faucetbox is closing. What are everyone's thoughts?
We did use faucet box for a short while, until we realized that they were not going to take responsibility for the ease at which bots and scripters were able to clean out those balances and we were forced to abandon them.
Anyway, there should be no forceseable impact to operations at scratch4satoshis.com when they do close. Good luck to everyone to get balances up to the withdraw limits at faucetbox before they close!

Even if you removed the referrals for users do you think that loyal users will leave? I think not try removing for one month and see how it goes. Or if you are very happy with full ref removal go with that, I can see your honest users staying. This is what I would do, I myself had one ref on the old system, but none today, if I had many now, I could really live without any of them as your payments are superb. I think ref faucets should be just a temporary thing to get a few new members to a new website , if you want to survive I would remove referrals. Weigh up your income versus payouts, and I bet you are out of pocket. You could also reduce rewards, as you must be the number one for highest payments, just my two satoshis. |

Ah, we're not going to remove referrals completely, just get rid of the boost for high levels. Referrers don't tend to bother playing to level 100 anyway, it's always the bots. So, it's still 50% otherwise.

Every once in a while we get hit by bots that clean out the hot wallet (Xapo). Sometimes it even happens when I'm sleeping. I'll look at it this morning and refill the wallet, don't panic. |

What's wrong with the site? Why are can`t enter?
The hosting provider did some upgrades and we had to reboot as a result. Sorry, we thought it would be quicker than it was. |
