Interesting. So you'd assume that once the current batch is sold it will be at least that size? I think it's possible. 1) Bitmain announced new batches in the first weeks of Bitmain - the same time as hashrate increasing 2) They change miners in their datacenter from S4->S5. Of course they are interested in testing miners before changing. But now we can see even hashrate decreasing with current BTC price, non-effective miners will off. Is AM's own hashrate in Discus? I think we will see an increasing of AM's hashrate in March, shareholders wrote about it. |

They run AntPool, and also talked about joining P2Pool to promote decentralization ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855548.0) with some of their hashrate, although we have not seen anything yet... |

No that thread's name is incorrect. It's still just a centralised modified standalone p2pool used as a normal pool, not as a peer to peer pool (and not connected to p2pool) |

What astonished me is that "Megabigpower" only appeares with one block at Blockchain, however, 27 blocks were found by "unknown" - which is Megabigpower. nWith 27 blocks, MBP is definitively one of the biggest players on the market at the moment. |

Yesterday I saw over 100 cars on the road that I didn't recognize. I think it's safe to say that it was the same guy driving all of them and that his name is "Unknown". He must be very rich to have so many cars.  |

Got an example block? Block #339515, for example. As I said, I could be totally wrong, but the block was relayed by IP 212.126.14.122 which belongs to BIOINFOBANK Sp. z.o.o. in Poland. And Arstechnica mentions Bioinfobank in one story as follows: Carlson's company, MegaBigPower, does the biggest portion of its mining on behalf of its primary investor, the BioInfoBank Institute in Poland. |

I'm basing my results on many different generation addresses that MBP uses, not just coinbase signature, and I update my list regularly. I don't think Blockchain has updated their MBP addresses for a while. I don't look for 'relayed by' since for that to be accurate your client would need to be connected to every pool client. Unless you know all the pool client IP addresses, you'll actually need to be connected to all clients. Today blockchain.info is only connecting to 1600 nodes, and that's only about a fifth of all possible nodes, so "Relayed by" will only be approximate. |
