Hi, I am Spoetnik. Welcome to my thread on altcoins. I have been a Bitcoin owner since 2011 but never owned any alts, until I bought started mining LTC last year.

The rules of this thread are very strict, as always in my threads:

Obviously, that's not the full roster. I'm in the middle of a sizeable update, backfilling a few dozen altcoins that we missed recently.

We're using Minkiz to present the data sliced and diced, for example; a pair of lookup tables for names to symbols and symbols to names. We also provide in-depth support for hodlers via the HodlerScope but that may not be the kind of analysis you seek

If you're prepared to re-examine your wish list and pare it down to a set of practicalities (e.g. swapping out four paras of rambling opinion in favour of a rating of 1-5 on the "does it smell okay?" scale and similar value-enum array choices) then we could be in business.

I will part with my BTC for your efforts, shoot me some more details and a BTC address and I will donate some of my precious coin.

One thing that I think would be a holy grail for online ratings like this is to provide more weight to reviewers that have clout in various communities (bitcointalk, reddit, whatever... ) Me giving a thumbs up has about 1/100000th the value as say Satoshi himself. If you could find a way to factor that into your smells okay metric, then all the better.

Oh one other thought, a momentum indicator.

I was gonna waste time today and post about coin emissions and inflation.

Instead, I decided to write about the milking trend I've observed that we let go on and on and it's heavily rooted in altcoins. Figured the best place to put it is in an alt observer thread.

OK, so first off: How many BTC does it take to scare off a rally?

Looking at bitcoinwisdom, the last rally was killed off with about a 4k BTC dump 5-20k BTC dump. This dump likely triggered everyone else to short.

Now, we need to observe how many collective BTC was accumulated in the last month through ICO's:

We have blocknet: 365 BTC

Breakout: 274.89 BTC

Equinox: 44.53629361 - please let me know of people got their money back here ..

Bitbay: ~3k BTC

... and there's a whole lot more

Where am I going with this?

Well, there's a trend that's been coming up for the last few months.

People hold ICO's for a few thousand BTC throughout the month. Then BTC pumps for the first week or two of the month, and the pump is killed off OFC as people sell for fiat. Then BTC and alts bleed for a little bit, until people decide it's low enough to buy back in. Then, the alt markets start to rise, because these people have the luxury of putting aside BTC from before their ICO (which you guys keep handing back to them on a monthly basis), go and buy their select alts and then they go and rise. Then, the alts get shit on for the last two weeks of the month, as all the ICO's come to completion. As that's happening, BTC starts to rise again, and just like fucking clockwork the amount of BTC from ICO's is used to kill off the rally and the entire cycle happens over and over again.

Am I saying all of these are scams? No. Some are for sure. But, what I'm saying is that we're going through a milking cycle and it's curbing the market growth of all coins, while perpetually coming up with an endless list of ICO coins.

Obviously, it's too early to tell if they're all gonna put out a working product .. but for fucks sake .. everyone's got an idea and they're all like opinions at this point.

Stop letting yourselves get milked on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. There's fucking enough coins to build on. They're just gonna keep making them, and you're gonna hand over your BTC .. and it's gonna keep going on and on.

Then you're gonna bitch and moan that BTC's and alts are going nowhere and you can't fucken figure out why, but at least you got to scalp the market for 1 BTC profit from the ICO you bought into!

I've got a real question though: Would you rather have more BTC or alts, or a more valuable BTC or alt, at this point? Little hint for you - the ICO's arent gonna stop, so you're just gonna chase your tail trying to follow every single one of them from here on until infinity.

If you just want more BTC - then by all means keep getting milked, and enjoy chasing thousands of different ICO coins.

If you want a more valuable market overall - then stop handing people endless supplies of ICO BTC so they can pull the milking cycle endlessly.

Personally, horizontal scaling through ICO is getting pretty boring IMO.

Not that I'm tired of new technology at all, and in fact I don't mind a new alt popping up in the least. Mostly, I support it. But when that's coupled with thousands of bitcoins being handed to the same fucken people over and over again to follow some boring fucken cycle .. well I'll be honest I'm kinda bored of it.

...They don't even have to pump shitcoins with 'fair starts' anymore they're making such a killing.

I mean, if I can see it, I'm sure pretty much everyone here at this point can figure out what's going on. We made the bear market at this point.

1 year later the dev has done NOTHING but collect his million dollar IPO.
He claimed to have big plans but in 1 year all that happened is he couldn't afford to keep the domain up.

And all he had to do was finish the other 25% of the code..

 - When specs begin to appear, many of the details and descriptive language appear to be copied-and-pasted from BARR
 -  - (one example is the 30-day burn period announced for December; BARR began with a 30-day burn period in November because November has 30 days, but DGCS copied it without thinking and changed it to December without changing it to 31 days)


November 2015:
 - DGCS gets listed on Coinmarketcap, Yobit, C-Cex, and BTCPoolExchange, and begins trading without ever burning a single altcoin
 - intristin promises that the 200 Million premined coins will not be under his control and will never be used for giveaways, but only for proven burns
 - dcredits.com says that only 2.6 million DGCS will be released per year from the premined fund, giving it a 76-year supply
 - intristin sends 1 Million DGCS to Yobit's faucet and 5 Million to BTCPoolExchange without mentioning it on bitcointalk
 - PoW rewards are 5 DGCS per block, and the YoBit faucet pays each user 5 DGCS per hour

 - intristin says that 2 of the 3 burn coins are broken and removes them from burn exchange, leaving only Spacecoin which has a marketcap of $100
 - Digital Credits brings Spacecoin back to life, getting it listed on an exchange, increasing the number of nodes, and running a block explorer
 - users do not burn coins, but actually exchange them at BTCPoolExchange just like any other altcoin exchange
 - BTCPoolExchange begins distributing from the premined funds without burning any coins
 - intristin announces that the price is too low at C-Cex and tells all holders to withdraw their coins and that he wants DGCS to be delisted from C-Cex
 - when questions are asked about why no Spacecoins have been burned after 2 weeks of the "burn period", intristin finally tests a burn address
 - intristin claims that the burn is being run by the exchange and not himself, but then admits that he is in charge of every aspect of it

January 2016:
 - intristin buys large quantities of Spacecoin after the exchange period is over and everyone else has stopped buying
 - intristin extends the burn period and burns his own Spacecoins
 - one user holding over 100,000 Spacecoins at BTCPoolExchange did not burn his coins, so intristin decided to burn those Spacecoins without the user's permission
 - the faucet at Yobit is now empty, with all 1 Million coins from the premine already gone, which is about twice the total number of coins generated by PoW
 - DGCS is supposedly burning FindCoin, but there is no evidence that any Findcoins have been burned after 3 weeks
 - intristin has locked 6 of his own topics instead of answering inconvenient questions
 - instristin has completely wiped the entire dcredits website to remove all previous statements and forum information
 - the new dcredits website claims that the remaining premined funds are in cold storage, but in fact they are in a hot wallet




This isn't a complete list, of course, but it has some of the relevant points.
Please point out anything you think is inaccurate.

The block explorer shows what is on the blockchain.  Everyone's wallets on the same network have to agree.

Therefore, it's not the block explorer that's displaying incorrect information.  You are the one displaying incorrect information.

You say there was an attack, but the double-spend happened exactly when you sent your FindCoins to the BTCPoolExchange, exchanged them for DigitalCredits, and then still kept the FindCoins in your own address.  Which means you could still send them to YoBit to sell them after you've already sold them at BTCPoolExchange.

That's why you're supposed to use Proof of Burn, so it's proven that the coins can never be sold again.  But that's not what you're doing. 





And now you're exchanging FlozCoin, a scam ICO that just launched December 20th.  Who launched it?  Did you launch it yourself, or did you plan it with the Floz dev just to burn it the next month after it launched?
