We are at block 16951, Block rewards is scheduled to be reduced at block 17291 which will take place in about 2 days and 8 hours. Block reward will halve every 240000 blocks, which is approximately 4 years and 7 month. I think is enough time to show real development, real investment and real coin adoption. at block 240000 the block reward will be 25BSTY.
