Found that I had to let the miner run for about 10 min., the first time to get the pool (mine2.bsty.nonce-pool.com) to start communicating.  It may have been because I had just created my account and worker.  Hope this information is helpful.

I had the same experience at nonce-pool yesterday.  But once it was connected, it was mining real nice.

Hey jzhoulon.  We all understand that their are going to be limitation to the new windows miner.  The limit we know of is that sum older processors are probably not going to work.  This is due to the architecture of the processor not being able to interact with minerd, as it is currently developed.

With that being said, I am sure we will have something that is compatible with older processors.  Remember this Windows miner is beta.  Post the CPU you are using and lets see if we can get something figured out.   Smiley

edit:  bstdev wants technical stuff posted to our official forum: http://forum.globalboost.org/index.php?topic=197.0

Lets go that route as he will be on there.   Smiley

Put the minerd files in the same folder as the GlobalBoost-Y.exe file.  Then in the wallet, put your pool information.  Set the scan to 99 and click mining.

Drop technical question in the official forum for devbst.  http://forum.globalboost.org/index.php?board=4.0

lol I almost need a new cpu cooler to mine this. My evo 212 just aint cutting it, i5-3570k (stock 4.1mhz) 3 cores its pushing 55c. Anything over 50c gets me worried. I know many people run much higher C just fine but this cpu has to last me for some time yet. Glad to see the price coming back up.

My laptop is working well right now.  Not sure on temp though.  Should probably check. LOL  Mining at http://bsty.altpooler.com/ Very stable by the way.
