Please donate BTC Address: 1JASKNGjUsaUNjenMyku9FQHfUHkcgvKSU
for the development of GPU sgminer yescrypt algo git tree: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer

Couple questions on this.

What are these that show up on VirusTotal.com?

JAVA.Suspicious.Gen
not-a-virus:NetTool.Win32.Sniffer.dz
Win32/Virus.Sniffer.b91

Second silly question........how to mine with this?

This didn't come from our team.  Someone in IRC might be able to help.

Is anyone here who had problems with downloading minerd from dropbox...my chrome blocked it...strange.

Chrome always blocks dropbox downloads for me.  Try the Mega link.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I switched to altpool from nonce as well, I seem to still have all the coins I should on both pools.  Any chance it paid out to your wallet?

Please help!
WinXP, Intel E3400, E2200 are the same.

Miner says:

D:\Quan\Mining\BSTY\bsty-miner>minerd -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://mine.altpoole
r.com:3500 -u apocalypse.xxx -p xxx
[2014-09-15 10:31:31] Binding thread 0 to cpu 0
[2014-09-15 10:31:31] 2 miner threads started, using 'yescrypt' algorithm.
[2014-09-15 10:31:31] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://mine.altpooler.com:3500
[2014-09-15 10:31:31] Binding thread 1 to cpu 1
      1 [unknown (0xC3C)] minerd 5112 cygwin_exception::open_stackdumpfile: Dump
ing stack trace to minerd.exe.stackdump

D:\Quan\Mining\BSTY\bsty-miner>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

Working fine with Win 8 32 bits ( Intel I3), 8.1 64 bits (Intel G1630), 2003 server 32 bits (Xeon E5620)

I haven't test this on XP.  I am mining directly from the wallet with the minerd files in the folder as the globalboost-y.exe.  Pic below

I just spoke to BSTDev about this. We will work together and coordinate what needs to be done. We're very excited!

something is very weird on altpooler.

Pool Hashrate is 2000 Khash/s whilst the Network Hashrate is 600 Khash/s !!!!!

The DGW (Dark Gravity Wave) hasn't fully adjusted to the influx of hash rate yet.  altpooler has 174 miners right now.  Nonce-pool has like 58.  The stats match between the 2 known pools and the blockchain explorer.  So the DGW just needs time to kick in.   Grin

The same error happened when mining directly from the wallet.
Maybe the miner have a problem with XP.
