If you have any other questions, I'll gladly answer....
Did you measure your power consumption or estimated it? How much is kWh for you?

You claimed to mine every weekend, but how many weekends?

I mined for 8 weekends (although the last 6 were the ones that REALLY mattered). Yes we did measure the power consumption. Each computer cost us about $0.05 per day to run. I forget what the actual readings were, but at full load it was around 45 watts with the monitor off and yescrypt minerd running.

Hey all. First time poster.

Anyone else concerned with the recent plunge in price of BSTY?

This is the first coin I've truly mined hardcore and the first coin besides bitcoin that I've got behind. I sold tens of thousands of coins when the price was around it's peak. I'm tempted to buy at the current low. The price keeps dropping further and further though so I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on a large buy.

Is this type of price plummet typical in alt-coins that have managed to become successful?

We are concerned about the price plunge, but not a lot.  We are looking to price BSTY/USD, as BSTY/BTC hasn't been the best.  I bought about 62k BSTY the other day.  BSTY is long term and with the services we offer, it should be around for a long time.

I don't believe this is normal for altcoins, that manage to become successful.  Every coin is different of course, and user acceptance is critical.  User acceptance has been a struggle.  We are working on that and the services that should be online soon should spark interest.

Thanks for mining and jumping in to comment.  We need more supporters like yourself.  I am still weighing buying more myself.  I have some BTC to buy with, but I am also going to be setting up a store at http://globalboost-y.com/.  I would like to use that BTC to setup the store, and buy the products for it in BTC.  I will be selling the products on that site for BSTY.  Grin

No, don't have an OP logo. I like your algo (because it's a CPU only algo) and want to support you as well.
It seems a little slow growing but who knows what'll happen next. Wink
My pool will stand as much as i can hold it alive!

Thanks again.

Why have an issue? It's P2pool.  Wink
Also this hashrate is very interesting. I think someone testing their whole datacenter on the pool.  Grin
Because 2 XEON Servers can only give around 10KH in this algo.

not hashing, folding and curing (check FLDC merged-folding! reuse good GPUs)
