My wallet says it's obsolete. Have I lost my coins? Cause the wallet shuts down and can't sync..
Make a copy of your wallet.dat file. Uninstall the wallet (you have an old version) Download the latest version. Copy the wallet.dat file back. That should get you back up. can't make it sync.. It crashes and shuts down. EDIT: I get error : System error: CDB : Error -30974, can't open database wallet.dat

I appreciate that, but my main question is how to force a rescan of the block chain. I am assuming that the transfer is still stuck in the originating wallet.

Yes, I understand that, but typically there is an actual -repairwallet RPC call in most wallets, but MUE is missing this.

ah, ok. so the only way to repair is to either rescan on start, or re-download a clean copy of the blockchain.

We are not missing any RPC commands... here are some helpful ones: -reindex Rebuild block chain index from current blk000??.dat files on startup -zapwallettxes Clear list of wallet transactions (diagnostic tool; implies -rescan) -rescan Rescan the block chain for missing wallet transactions on startup -upgradewallet Upgrade wallet to latest format on startup -salvagewallet Attempt to recover private keys from a corrupt wallet.dat on startup A full list can be found using the command:

Yeah, Only way I could get it to bring back the original 100 MUE was to re-download the entire blockchain, a -rescan didn't work. Then I tried to send the 100 again and the same thing happened. as soon as the blockchain finishes downloading again, I will see if smaller chunks works fine.

I see that there is an -upgradewallet RPC command, does this actually upgrade the wallet to the latest version??

I can confirm what @jthor is saying, I as well can transfer small amounts of MUE between wallets without issue, but if I transfer anything above 50MUE it never shows up and I have to re-download the blockchain to fix the issue. please check into this..

Post the relevant part of your debug.log including the error so I can troubleshoot.

is it 6% a year? or per month? and are you paid out in MUE or BTC? just curious.. nvm... It's 6.5% interest per year which is paid every rolling 28 days which is 0.5% per month. More details here www.MUEBank.comThe one thing to be aware of is, that to reduce the amount of admin we do (as this is all managed manually) is that you give us 28 days notice to withdraw your funds.

Whats the total number of coins that would ever be in circulation? UNLIMITED? And does have unlimited supply of your own local currency stop you from using it? From our FAQ http://www.monetaryunit.org/faq/ point 14.) Q) There will be 1 Quadrillion coins? That’s A LOT of noughts!!?? A) Yes it is, 15 noughts actually! Theoretically there could be 1,000,000,000,000,000 MUE mined. That would however take 31 million years! MonetaryUnit will, should it succeed in the long term, be a low per unit fiat valued crypto. As such, I don’t see why (other than micro payments and fees) it would really need to be spent in non whole numbers. Now, Bitcoin, for example, let’s say it does hit $10,000/BTC in the next 3 years (not out of the realms of possibility at all), and you wanted to say send someone some dust, you have to start counting fingers and toes to make sure you haven’t missed a decimal place etc (overly simplified I know!). So, as BTC can be split into up to 8 decimal places (at the moment) and it is quite possible it will have a very high per unit fiat value in the short to medium term (maybe even $1M at some point), you could argue that the 21 million cap of BTC, could actually be viewed as 21,000,000 x 100,000,000 = 2,100,000,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000,000,000 is the MonetaryUnit cap The whole psychology that there is only going to be 21M BTC is I think a little bit of PR & marketing spin. Granted, MUE CAN be split into much smaller pieces, but I don’t see much reason why it would be as it should keep a nice low value to allow for liquidity and spending and not holding. So, yes, although on the face of it 1 quadrillion MUE is a rather large number, hopefully with regards to it’s intended use, it actually is a lower cap than BTC will be!
