Hi this seed node IP 188.226.136.153 should solve any issues with syncing.
Please add to a conf file or add using rpc command.

We're just tweaking the wallet at the moment.
The syncing issues new users are experiencing will be sorted out with this release.
This version will be an interim release while we do more work on the in-wallet pool mining facility but will include updated graphics, check pointing & new nodes.
This won't be a mandatory upgrade, but on release we would suggest everyone does upgrade at their earliest convenience.
Not a great deal to see, but the pic below shows at least the new logo integrated, though we will also give the wallet a new "skin" to look and feel more MUE like
