... Either we do the right thing on our own, or we have masters compel us to do it. Having masters = total failure. We are betting that someday most will choose freedom and make friends as we “wheel and deel” in the bitcoin market place and out.
I love your perspective. Unfortunately a certain percentage of people are sociopaths like bulanula. The least we can do is make it clear to these idiots that their pathetic justifications won't fly. It would be a failure to let them get away with poisoning the general bitcoin culture with a 'tough luck' modus operandi. If they want to 'roll like that' - they should go set up a sociopath's trading community and stop being grubby little stealth-vampires upon the rest of us.

"ANYTHING THIS DISHONEST SHADY [Individual] SAYS OR DOES ON THIS FORUM DURING MY LIMITED EXPOSURE HERE"
All it takes is a quick skim really. Fully deserved for being a sleezy piece of crap. Consider the SCAMMER tag much desired attention, but of the wrong type.

After paying the kids in bitcoins for splitting hives and catching swarms they are learning how to use GLBSE and investing in a few companies. We have also been following this discussion and talking about it. Here is a quick summary of part of our conversations on it:
The beauty of bitcoin is the ability of two individuals to voluntarily enter into a contract where both parties have a “win-win” transaction - free of irrelevant third parties interfering with the private contract. As such, each transaction being a win-win, it is also an opportunity to make a friend.
When transactions are a “win-lose” transaction…where a friend is not made, but an enemy is created…something is obviously wrong. If bitcoin transactions have too many of these “win-lose” situations then the experiment will fail. Either people will walk away from it, or a third party with regulatory powers will emerge. Either one of these outcomes is total failure.
Taking the sum of all these little individual “Win-lose” transactions and looking at the bigger picture, we can see that they are the poisons that destroy liberty and free-markets. It is also the fertilizer that grows the state and proves that we little people must be governed and compelled by a “noble” group of elitists that will take care of us, since obviously we can’t do it ourselves. Yet we know that those elite groups are often nothing more than parasitical thugs that work under the respectable name of government, feeding off our numerous petty disputes.
We all make mistakes, but when we take advantage of other’s mistakes, it is planting the very seeds of tyranny.
Last week in our home we sent goods out to 3 countries outside the U.S. (one of the countries being Russia). The discussion with our kids has been along the lines of “If governments would get out of the way, we, the people, would have a better chance of world peace”. Now, thanks to bitcoins, the kids would love to visit Russia (a total different view than what I had as a kid after watching Red Dawn a few times).
When I see this thread and discuss it with the kids, I shake my head and wonder, “If we can’t get along in simple transactions with each other, what hope can bitcoin or our societies have for the future?
Either we do the right thing on our own, or we have masters compel us to do it. Having masters = total failure. We are betting that someday most will choose freedom and make friends as we “wheel and deel” in the bitcoin market place and out.
Great ! Not only am I a big scammer but I also work for the government and Illuminati New World Order. LOL. Any results of that hardcore doxing ?

I kind of have to chuckle at the subject line... "Unjust" scammer tag... the irony being that on the flipside, that someone shouldn't get their own money back isn't somehow unjust.
Perhaps it would read more accurately if the subject line were "Unwanted scammer tag".

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

He acknowledges someone sent him 25BTC by mistake (meant to send 2.5 BTC) and there is no doubt who sent it (he has proven he did so), but bulanula refuses to return it, insists it is right to keep it. So if that makes him a scammer in your books, then he is one.

Why is this thread still going on? Everyone has made their opinion, and Bulan, what is the point of continuing this thread. The common opinion is that you are a scammer, or your actions weren't made with integrity, so I guess just grow to love your scammer tag, and let this thread go to rest?

I was actually thinking the same thing. This person obviously developed a bad reputation in order to earn themselves the title "scammer" and no one really seems all that bothered by it. Its a moot issue and also a stark reminder to all bitcoin borrowers and business owners to take care of debts It makes the forum more pleasing to browse and can be an excellent future resource for you within the community. <-- I learned the hard way
