If you say "I would have [done the right thing] if he'd asked nicely," then you are subjecting your own sense of ethics to control by the courtesy and moods of others, which makes you untrustworthy.
I voted yes because an untrustworthy jerk is about as bad as a scammer, especially considering that it's easy for a scammer to arrange the facts to make himself look like an untrustworthy jerk instead of a scammer.
Send him 25BC, and then post a new thread asking for forgiveness with a new poll, and I'll vote for you.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

Anyways, we can't have a tag for every type of scammer/dishonest person. At the very minimum you are dishonest, immoral and a sociopath so you should get a scammer tag. |
