I was playing with one and thought I'd done the whole lot somehow haha
Ignore the PM Kano Smiley

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function.
Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

Yeah had ckpool going down and up a few times there related to the change/fix for workers getting their web site diff.
I've partially undone the change and all is OK again.
That change will require more testing before we fully enable it again Smiley

All of my hash dropped again, but has started climbing now.
Is it my side or did the pool go kerplunk again?

I am configuring things which shouldn't matter but want to be sure.
TY in advance

Not for the last hour.

The pool says on the Stats page how long it has been up.
There's also another way to see when ckpool restarts coz ckdb starts a new shift each time, so any quite short shifts without a block marker are probably a ckpool restart.

Oddness, but I have been playing on my end, but only single miners and they all dropped hash. I see where the pool restart is shown though, so obviously was my end. Maybe I made the cable company mad again.
For some reason they get frustrated with me easily. Something about going over my data limit every month. I think the limits are stupid for this company. They make a fortune and then complain about a few gigs over their limit.
I told them straight up I would get another ISP and they said no it is OK as long as you aren't serving up an FTP server or sitting on irc serving up or running a business reselling any of their products, but, every time I speak with support they whine about my usage.

They have no clue what I am doing heh.

TY for the payout!

Yep I get about 6hrs a day - so plenty.
... as long as the pool alarms don't go off Smiley

Though, I do sometimes take a few hours or more to do a payout ... especially on the rare occasion that it comes due when I'm asleep.

6 hrs about the same here, old age creeping in I guess;D. Alarms are a pain. Had my miners screaming blue murder at 2 am a couple of weeks ago when the router bombed out, no more sleep after that.

Ah, the payout timing. Impatient customers panicking that you have run off with their BTC, they need to have a little faith a block payment is not worth scurrying off with.

Keep on sweeping that dust into a container, you never know one day....... maybe Tongue

I could live with a once a day payment.. That's pretty standard across pools, no?

Depends on if the pool pays per block (like here) and of course the pool size.

At current diff, 2.4PHs would 'average' about a block a day.
But that also means sometimes (e.g. 600%) it will take 6 days and often there will be 2 (or more) payments on a day.

Long term it should average out, but short term, luck/variance plays a big part in it.

Edit: and of course 3.3PH/s should 'average' about 1.4 blocks a day at the moment.

Does this pool provide a better hash rate compared to other pools? I have only been mining here for about 1 hr and seems more stable and a bit higher.

I'm sure it will be explained in more detail by someone, but you need to be connected and hashing away constantly for a few days before your full 'potential' will be realized by the earnings.

Yep each device can point to the same or different worker names.
... and anyone wondering - yep ckpool did restart 25min ago.
That switched to a bug fix version for the previous problem that cause the restarts yesterday.
