I was looking at GAIA today to get a bit of information. Then I saw the demo site and I liked it - only that you couldn't really do something there. So I went to #gaiacoin on freenode and asked if it might be possible to connect the demo to e.g. a testnet, so people can play around a bit with it. It was not even an hour later that they implemented that; thanks kro55! Very responsive and helpful. I hope this project succeeds.  |

So am I right in thinking that the coins we are buying on bittrex now mean nothing?
in the OP it states once the dev team know how many coins they need they will mine them and deliver them to Bittrex.
No, i think 700sat for 100mln coins is a very good and low price . If we do not sell all then this price will be even better. We have a block chain ready with 100mln and we could deliver it but we do not believe in coin destruction so it's better to reset the block chain so everything is clear. 700 satoshi for 100 mln coins is not a low price at all. It means a marketcap of 700 BTC for a coin that hasn't even launched yet. That's very high and very likely not profitable for investors. At this moment I believe the marketcap is around 100 BTC which is more reasonable, it can go up to 200 BTC but after that not much room for instant profit and it will probably drop below ICO prices at launch. Seen it happen again and again. I'm in but I hope it stays below 200 BTC Ok, so I do not see the point to talk about 100mill coins. Till this moment 16 mill coins sold and there will be no POW phase, so instead of 100 mill, I think there will be around 20 mill coins in circulation and with that the ICO price is fair. |

they should destroy the remaining coins There will be no coin destruction. The chain will be reset and only coins sold in ICO will be created. That amount of coin will be max coin for GAIA. |

Correct 100 Million is max cap for ICO. If 20 million are sold, then that's all the cap there is. Coinmarketcap will correct the maxcoin in it's GAIA listing once ICO is over. |
