Well that sucks! Gotta find a new place to pass my bitcoins into bittrex! What do other people use to get money moved around. Long term I would really like to use a decentralized exchange. I haven't tried bitsquare in a while. It would be great if buying and selling cloak could be done with anonymity.

What advantage would they have screwing their customers when billions are flowing through their system. Talk about insanity. I think we are going to have to wait for the court hearing to determine if 8000 vs billions holds up. Imho.

well, it was written by mike adams......but if he's stating facts, then facts are facts......unless they're not. i'm waiting to see how it plays out. i sent some cloaks to a friend in hawaii who can't cash out through coinbase, so i know that part is true. mike adams has always been down on cryptos though.... he should stick to health stuff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQUdvWGAwo4

I would wait for the other shoe to drop before I took it as fact. Where are the complaints from all the "other" disgruntled people in those states? I've used Coinbase since they went online and the only complaint I have is that they need more bandwidth and horsepower to keep up and their fees are a bit high. I've even used their support and found it adequate for my needs. Also, the "sensational" nature of the article is not to my taste, sets of alarm bells about the true purpose of the site that posted it.

Can't wait for open sourcing! It'll be yuuuge!
Everybody waiting for this to happen..Believe me! Totally agree, Cloak have a huge potential to grow now, project team move in right direction and good marketing starts now. Cloak have many new investors attention and coin community is growing rapidly.
Yes it does and recent price rise influence more members to come and even more rise..i wont talk about predictions but this is obvious.. Cloak is better than Monero has better technology.... now just think a few months......... Maybe, but we must see this first, and many must confirm this..

It is quite possible that since coinbase is down, we are going to get a nice opportunity to ACCUMULATE! Coinbase being down is blocking some from getting bitcoins ... Wait, what the hell? This is the first I’ve heard of coinbase being down, and I use coinbase (although not to store much BTC, so if I did lose my BTC on coinbase it wouldn’t be more than a few dollars). Update: Just checked, it seems to be up; at least for me. Well, during the correction, coinbase was down. I am using coinbase to add money myself... Oh, guess I never noticed. Does anybody know why they went down or was that just a random downtime?

Hi guys, new to the Cloak community here and I just bought me some ClockCoins.
Concerning the RPi Cloak-Staking setup, I have configured all (I hope) as instructed and the daemon seems to be working fine since yesterday. What I have in the setup: - Raspberry Pi 2 with Ubuntu Jesse-Lite - Cloakcoind installed with the configuration file and latest blockchain - wallet encrypted using <walletpassphrase> - Daemon running for more than 24 hours now - Shifted some CloakCoins to the RPi wallet (10 to be precise. The idea is to see if I can make it work and then I may shift more)
I can execute the basic commands like help, getinfo, getmininginfo, etc. to get the information (most of which, unfortunately, is beyond my level of comprehension) So far running the getinfo command I can see there is '0' newmint and '0' stake. I can perhaps just leave it on for a couple of days (weeks even) and then check again but I don't want to waste precious time because of some step I could have missed, only to find myself with the same zeros.
My questions: - what would you suggest I do to make sure everything is working normally and it is safe to leave it running on its own for a while? - I read CloakCoins must be 'unlocked' to be staked. How do I go about making sure they are unlocked? - I have set 'enigma=1' in the configuration file already. How do I make sure it is really running? - getmininginfo shows me 'generate=false', is it normal?
In the end, happy to be part of this community and excited to be witnessing the rise of the Cloak. Thanks.

No thank we do not need banks or governments.....This is a joke, only hahahaha Who controls the Bitcoin network? No one owns the Bitcoin network much like no one owns the technology behind the email. Bitcoin is controlled by all Bitcoin users around the world. While developers are upgrading the software, they can not force a change in Bitcoin's protocol because all users are free to choose the software and version they use. In order to remain compatible with each other, all users must use the software in accordance with the same rules. Bitcoin can only function properly with a total consensus among all users. Therefore, all users and developers have a strong incentive to protect this consensus.
