What a wonderful day! People are beginning to realize the potential of Cloakcoin. Soon the source code will be opened and the fight with the best will begin. I love a lot of project and this team, and I have confidence in the work done!

Cloak has a lot of potential and people are realising it just now !
With Bitcoin going down, it's time to buy CLOAK with your BTC before its too late !

I use Cryptopia to exchange, but you can use Livecoin or Bittrex as well.

For staking this coin I have two questions.
1. Is it better to split the funds for staking into smaller amounts to increase chances, if so what size?
2. I had read somewhere to send the funds one you have staked to another address. this is new to me is this correct?

Thank you.

Better to keep in one wallet and then move it to a different wallet every 30 or so days. I learned this recently, Yogi goes into more details about this a few pages back on this thread.

Thanks man I'll take a look, must of missed it when looking through the forum.

I have searched the forum and cannot find info on this. I hate to be a bother but I have a few questions I cannot find the answers to and am hoping the Cloak community can welcome me with some help.

First, right now I hold about 170 Cloak and I am staking with no results. Currently, I have about 5-7 deposits between 20-30 coins as I have read with other coins it is better to break up the coins to improve chances of reward. Should I just send my self the whole lump sum to stake or leave it the way I have it?

The second question, in setting "Enigma reserve balance %" does this option affect staking.

Third I have 5 failed requests for enigma cloaking. Is this normal? Do I need to be around to approve the request?

Thank you in advance.

Man i wish cloak would go up above 150k again :/

--------------
Also a question, 0.5% monthly that means lets say you own 200 cloak:  200/100= 2 / 2 = 1 cloak a month?

correct! only switch on your wallet once a month and wait until the 200 cloak staked. after it is confirmed (after 60 bocks) send your 201 Cloak to another addres in your wallet. wait one month and then you stake 201 Cloak.

stake and repeat!

So is it recommended to send coins to different address every month to maximize staking or should coins be held in a single wallet address and left alone? I don't understand the benefit of moving it around.

After each time you stake the coins are split into 2 halfs. example: 1000 split into 504 and 506 if you staked 10 coins. after a while these amount stake again and split into 2 halfs each. That means the fractions are becoming smaller and smaller and have less weight. If you stake once or maximum twice and put your coins back into 1 block on another address in your wallet the whole amount will stake again and faster coz it will have a higher weight. I hope you understood what I wanted to say.

Yes this makes sense. So is there a way to tell if coins have been staked? I do get a lot of minted coins even though I've kept them in the wallet for several months. Am I confusing minting and staking? Aren't they the same thing?

minting/staking is the same. maybe then you've got many small fractions. combine all of your coins into 1 address. you can check your adresses with coin control features activated. there you see how many splits you have and how old each of them is.

It's best to transfer all your CLOAK to one address. This will increase your weight. Do this after each time or after some stakings. You will earn 6% p.a. for 170 CLOAK that equals 10 Cloak pa or 0,028 Cloak / day. You compete with many other wallets and some wallets may contain several thousand coins. You will get 6% but it needs some time.

Enigma reserve balance may not affect staking. The failed requests are nothing to worry about. Currently we have hardly any enigma TX on the network as almost nobody uses this feature (Why not? it's the anon engine to make your TX private!)

CLOAK The Sleeping Bull woke up today!

The double bottom (with two significant lows at 85k sat. and a high at 235k sat.) has been activated today. The target for the double bottom is 390k sat. Activating the double bottom can also be the start for the expected rally
which could lead us to about 1M sat. or 1.4M sat.

High chance for the long awaited rally, price corrections are expected to be flat.

Important price levels and targets

Strong Support:      85k sat.

Resistance:      345k sat.    550k sat.

Target:         1M sat. (0.01 BTC / CLOAK)   1.4M sat.

WOW thanks for the info. It is the exact opposite of what I have been told about other POS coins that I stake, I guess some are different than others. I will make a payment to myself with the full amount of coins. Thanks again.
