What is that the POS3 would give us? I have understood that it has some security improvements, but could somebody list the features of POS3?
At least for me the wallet is running nicely and also the minting works smoothly and I would not like to have another swap.
Will you opinion be the same if the swap add some value to the coin ? It's a bit of a giveaway

C2 has been previously swapped twice in the past, I think that would be enough imho.
I'll happily switch to something that works nicely. I see no reason for a coin swap if blackcoin and none of the other coins that went pos3 had to do one. If there is a reason we have to do a coin swap and it can be done through and exchange I think everyone who wants any future with this coin will be doing so. If we would decide to swap Coin2 again, there will be at least two very good reasons to do it. The first one will be a better technology adoption, POS3, etc. Now I let you try to find the second one. Please don't forget that we acquired some experience in the past and I agree with the role of the exchanges because most of coins are already stored there. Wake-up there ! What could be the second very good reason to make a swap ?You can account for the actual number of coins in circulation- which would be much lower than what the blockchain tells???

The current money supply is 130M and I don't want to speculate about missing coins. The only way to know the exact number of coins effectively in circulation is to make a swap.

Coin2 Buy Back Program UPDATE 3
The C2 Buy Back Program is still running and extending !!!
The BBP started on March 20th and I'm still doing my best to run it.
With an 250k C2 investment from the surplus wallet, the current balance is about 500k C2 and about 20 DASH (explained below).
I made 3 rounds (sales + purchases) with some good trades in the 300s to 600s range allowing to accumlate coins when c2 droped again to the 150-180s range.
The 450-500k trigger was important because I'm able to trade with stronger orders and to get a bigger leverage.
The next stept will be to increase the trading balance to 1 million C2 and to start to withdraw purchased coins exceeding this amount.
During the program I decided to use a part of the incomes to buy and to trade some DASH and MAID and it gave me the idea to extend the project and to constitute an altcoins portfolio to diversify income with some investments.
The concept is simple: trading C2 and buying altcoins when the price is near the floor, selling the altcoins when the price is near the top and buying back more C2 with the income, etc.
I also intend to use a part of the income for the development or for other purpose according to the priorities. An other anouncement will follow about this.
The BBP may play an important role in the Coin2 future, but it will depend of the market and I have to think longer about this before.
You can follow the BBP progression here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AXKhMotD-
iDc3FzduJJIxP13q0msBBL-KF-rNI6p2pA/edit?usp=sharing
There is a little mistake in the BTC balance which should be 0.01, but I don't have the time to investigate right now.
How can you support the project ?
- BTC donation to the Dev Team wallet: 1LUEr4diHQtQ5HsPahRB92dikw4i37JhY1 - Coin2 donation: CfGyBigu8zoBmc89vd97BLTmHH1VuogaQG - Altcoins donation: please contact me by private message

Coin2 more spendable very soon !!!
Here is the good new of the day:
I made many attempts to add Coin2 to the CoinPayments.net gateway with public vote and now it's time to take a shortcut to go there.
Coin2 is going to be accepted by tens or hundreds merchants to buy real goods and services.
Coin2 fits all the requirements and I will make the request as soon as possible.
The cost will be 700 USD (or 1.3 BTC). I will pay about 100 USD from my pocket and 600 USD with the BBC income and donation.
You will find more information about CoinPayment here: https://www.coinpayments.net/
I would like to see Coin2 on Bittrex again, I'm thinking about it.
How can you support the project ?

Thank you for a Coin2 donation !
Here is the second good new of the day:
I didn't regularly check the Dev Team wallet because I have to switch the wallet.dat files and I never thought to look with the block explorer before...
A few minutes ago I had the pleasant surprise to discover a 100k C2 donation for the BBP project.
First I want to sincerely thank the donor for his support and for his confidence.
This amount is staking right now and I will add it to the trading balance.

Reverse split
I didn't get some answers when I asked about a second very good reason to swap Coin2 again, then:
How would you react to a 5:1 or 6:1 reverse split ?
With a few words: we could launch a new Coin2 with a better technology and a limited supply.
By exemple Coin2 holders would receive 1 new Coin2 against 5 to 6 old Coin2.
I just want to start a real discussion inside the community with this post.
Your contributions are not only welcome, but also indispensable.
I believe that we need to do 5: 1 to better thought))), for example from 100,000 to 20,000, and if the 6: 1 is 16,666.666 ..... not integers. So I have a 5: 1! This will increase the value and appeal of the coin.

Unless there is a real technical reason, I will not support this. Swapping is always risky and it is not guaranteed that X:1 swap would actually increase the price with the factor of X. In some cases burning of coins has not actually affected the price / coin at all. But, if the new version would bring us some new important features like in the first swap of Coin2 (from POW to POS), my opinion could change.

Read up on POS3 and POSP you will see there are vast benefits.

Reverse split will reduce the number of coins and will keep the market up for a short time. But the real challenge is to find some real world use cases.

I truly agree. Besides trading, there must something needed to hold this coin. Dev must read other coins innovations and try to add some innovations to the next releases and swaps.
