A multipool would be great, but doesn't gpu mining like with 280x's cost more in electricity than it mines these days?

Mining is hard, I did some test mining with some rentals. I barely made anything mining.
unless you can find a coin in its earlyness and it hoes up a lot.

Not so sure nick im thinking if its break even or better it will be good to get one running.  Bare minimum it gives the team another asset to have in the bag.  For me break even with electricity eliminates having to buy btc then buy coin2 losing a little bit on each conversion.  And im looking at an asic that pushes ~40mh at 900 watts (I could be wrong but tried to do the calculation using estimates.  Should be able to profit some.

No I thinks it's totally a good idea to have. I didn't mean to be a nay sayer. I just sold my mining video cards long ago because of low profits and just figured it must be way harder now unless you have a dedicated miner. So I can't really offer any hashing power.

Lol no worries nick you didnt ruffle my feathers.  It all depends what your mining.  It goes up and down and just need to be able to follow the difficulty trends.  Im ginna look into this more to see if a c2 multipool will be worth my time at this point.  Maybe i will just get into a pool that pays out in btc and take that to buy more c2...we'll see

if it is good multipool then you will be mining most profitable coin atm, selling it and buying coin2, btw i have free electricity for mining so it is profitable

I haven staking 50% more than ususal as well.  Maybe just a good couple of days

Is your stake weight actually up or are you just making more coins with the same weight?
