Now, I'm really confused!

No need to be confused, sp_ isn't selling his farm. It's boring here, that's all...

About the only interesting thing there is going on right now is that skunk clusterfuck. Fun to watch.

Maybe SP_ could do a Monero mod, to help them resist the urge to flash their cards with the RX Vega 64 bios Grin

I have already done a monero mod for pascal cards. Works best on windows 7 and custom launchconfig.

gtx 1060 3gb/6gb ~600, gtx 1070 ~800

While I tend to agree with you, the gpu board brands are making mining cards with 1060, not 1070 or bigger.
That means the big gpu farms are using 1060s.

Those new P106-100's are based on 1060 you say?

"The P106-100 is based on the Nvidia GP106 GPU (GeForce GTX 1060). It is basically the same card with a couple of modifications:

– The Mining P106-100 features no display outputs whatsoever and it has no backplate."

same for the other brands.

Mine everything new. And hold them... Right now it's hard.
Nice hash says 3 to 5 dollar per 1080ti card....

By the way nice hash mining is stupid.
Look for Whale Coin... Don't know if now the Diff are increased.

Cheers

Doubt it. Equihash is a very stable coin, big farms don't like messing around with little coins so they keep dumping hashrate on it just like Ethereum. That's why we talk about them when we discuss profit calculations because those niche coins you guys were mining two months ago? Yeah they make less then Equihash now. Which is also why a 1070 is a safe bet because it can mine Eth+Other coin in addition to Nvidia algos. But taking that a step further you can just buy a 580 for $280 and save yourself a lot more bang for your buck as a 580 earns more then a 1070 and about as much as a 1080 dual mining.

Everyone gets excitable about a good week of profit and completely forget the other 51 weeks in the year. Hi, it's the other 51 weeks in the year calling, we're currently in one of them.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

There is bound to be another some day. SIGT was a huge success fora time, someone would want to replicate it.

How do you manage to cool graphics cards in dual mining? I have the SAPPHIRE RX480 NITRO + 8GB and the temperatures are enormously high in dual mining mode. The exception is if I significantly reduce the GPU clock, but then the earnings are significantly lower.
