Not wanting to put in time on something you don't want to do bites you in the ass, us in the ass, and then it makes you unmotivated to make mods in the future.

Spend some time to make a decent dev miner. Once it's fast enough people will switch to it even if they're using a 'free' version.

ALL the developers here should have dev fees in their own miners. Either optional and on by default or forced to a low rate of like 2% or so. That includes Epsylon, Pallas, and DJM in addition to SP. That could even be a group project from a main CCminer branch or something. Definitely well worth working on.

Don't underestimate people that are too lazy to remove 'dev fees' themselves... That and there are always people that, you know, want to actually support developers and believe in paying for work... Perhaps some that know that if they don't, this stuff dries up and goes private (IE not open sales to group buyers). I've already seen that happen in the crypto community years ago with x11 and scrypt.

very little gain over the last one, if you can do again the initial boost (50MH 1070)with the cpu bug, but without the bug, would be fabulous, but maybe not possible
