You already „complained“ multiple times about the money tpruvot earns. Why don’t you just open a pool yourself? Easy money!

Oh I see so you're more of a black belt consultant
You are so fun! :-) If only you knew what you are talking about. I am a consultant who has been coding opensource crypto software (wallets, miners, etc.) since 2013. And opensource in general for more than 20 years. Gary is a dumbass, not just a asshole. I guess they usually go hand in hand. Came here just to spew unsolicited insults at me? You're a bigger asshole than me then, and you know quite well what goes hand in hand with it.

There is something to be said about how some of you developers don't really do anything until you're trying to stick it to SP though. That's the only time I see things really move around here. There is definitely something to be said about there being plenty of algos to either make a GPU miner for or optimize and you guys always pick the same one SP does to dump shit on. It's silly that you guys are more motivated by spite then by money. You should ask why the coin developers create a "new pow algorythm" just by shuffling the same old algos. Then they tell you it's "more efficient", "new generation" or other shit. If you guys stopped mining and buying those useless clone coins, the "dev race" would be over in a second. Personally I'm not in a race with sp_, I do what I find more fun and rewarding. I've worked on countless algos that sp_ never touched; I just don't talk about them here.

70% of the miners @ yiimp is using my mod. Impressive 30GHASH hashrate in less than 24 hours. Thats 6000 gtx 1060 cards with the opensource miner. and the profit keeps rising and not declining...

24000$ - not bad, it is a good challenge! SP, are you in game?
Nah. I have the fastest miner in the world, best to let the cuda students give it a try.. if the bountyhunters beat my work, I will just improve the speed and add a 2% fee.

If you're going to be a asshole, you think you'd realize people don't like asshole and they aren't going to take kindly to it. Just a FYI. Although your parents probably put up with all of your shit, that doesn't mean everyone else is going to. At least bother to read a couple pages of the thread before posting in it. You should ask why the coin developers create a "new pow algorythm" just by shuffling the same old algos. Then they tell you it's "more efficient", "new generation" or other shit. No? Investment doesn't work that way. Often times investors really don't care what kind of coin it is and just look for one with any sort of spark of growth and then run with it. I've seen tons of good coins fail and tons of shitcoins do well, there is really no rhyme or reason to it sometimes. Investors really don't seem to care what algo the coin is using. Miners also aren't investors (most of the time).

Agreed. Often times investors... miners also aren't investors (most of the time).
You don't need to be an investor to make some fiat out of this. That's the main reason why this cryptomarket is so profitable. Buying a $400 gpu today vs. going long btc/usd, who wins? Aaaaand to be on topic, hrs looks better than skunk.

So many people think all the mining software should be delivered to them for free.
devfee is another form of payment, and works both for small miner and big farm. Fixed price is only good for big farms, and lower income of small miners, who will not buy paid version since can not return investment back. well, it's his choice, not yours. I haven't purchased any miners from him, there are plenty of free miners out there you can use, even without dev fee, but I don't come here and whine about the the price of his software. I understand sp_ completely - i do quotes for various projects every week. The work I do is far better than the shit competitors come up with and obviously it's more expensive. If someone don't like then tough luck - there are plenty of people out there who are willing to pay top dollar for decent work. Do you take some one else's quote and change three words and call it yours? Then make the person who wants to see it pay you before you show it to them?

Actually i have used templates i have found on the internet. My point was, if you did not get it - if it is so very easy to write your own miner then you should do so, rather than whinge like a little girl who has dropped her ice cream. If you manage to add even 1 line of code that makes that miner 10%+ faster than others then you deserve a reward. If you release it for free with no dev fee - even better, but for fuks sake, stop that whining.
