My nist5 mod is old, my donators have ROI'd already.

The new unreleased nist5 does 100MHASH on the 1080ti so you need 25 1080ti's to match the baikal x10 giant. (if nist5 is as fast as skein)

25 should look like small number behind whom is hiding another number of, let's say, 6KW power? resistance is futile...

Then don't buy it? Not everyone has 6x1080tis, furthermore not everyone owns a Baikal. Opportunity is something that happens and it doesn't stick around forever. It doesn't matter what happens when a network becomes saturated and becomes unprofitable for you, it matters what happens up until that point.

there is also this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2021765.0 but no source...

That looks like it performs pretty well all things given, still don't know why you just wouldn't use EWBFs though.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

That's right. Lyra2z is shoehorned by private miners and botfarms. The algo was made to be more 'fair' to CPU miners, which just equates to botnets and AWS. It consistently earns less then everything else.

I don't believe one can ROI with Your mod price taking into account that people found traces in Baikal miners that it was mining nist5 during it's factory "testing". Probably one of the soon added algos to X10. Unless "donator" is gigantic farm.

God some of you are idiots, check your profits, not what the pool is telling you, not what the 'estimated earnings' is telling you, not what a calculator is telling you, check what ACTUALLY ENDS UP IN YOUR WALLET. Jesus. Nothing quite like having morons crush coins because A. They don't understand how difficulty works and B. They look at profit on a pool that is absolutely incorrect, then I come back later in the day and notice that I'm earning half of Zcash while herp a lerp thinks he's mining a $34 per 1070 per day coin.

ROI in 1 month bois. Fucking morons.

Aye, lots of things I'd like to buy from SP that he's talking about, but none that are actually ready.

Have you done the math if it makes any sense to pay SO much money and get just few % more hashes? It makes ZERO sense, its very overpriced what he is asking for it. Also, it consumes a bit more electricity, so your gain actually is even less.

No doubt about your wisdom, but there are about a hundred customers included me who has another math.

Yes dumbshit. Not everyone is mining with one rig. 10% faster mod to me is not the same to you, that's why it's a percentile. Believe it or not, there are people that have been doing this a lot longer then the last two months you have, they've accrued quite a few more assets then you have over time, and they're also quite a bit more experienced at making the most out of what they have.

I AM NOT ON SP_ 's COMMISSION--

And I certainly cannot afford his mods.  But, I was an enthusiastic tester mining x11 and Quark back in the day when they made major profit for GPU miners.  I made voluntary donations now worth thousands of dollars.  I doubt sp_ saved them long enough, probably spent on beer.

The miners you are arguing with likely earn more within a 2% -to- 10% improvement margin than your rigs can earn in total.  Assembly language tricks do yield improvement, and sp_ does his own code on already good code.  Other coders earn good money modifying memory timing straps, some charge big fees and get them.       --scryptr

Cryptonight gone too for now, XMR nethash over 1 GH.

Upcoming XMR PoW change, interesting to see how this affects earnings and for how long:

Is there any updated info about spmod? Hashrates, prices, algos?

First post in this threads seems to be removed and after a lot of searching I didn't find any useful info. I tried to check few pages in this thread but 1140pages is a huge number ;-).

I was mining Bulwark so I was interested in a nist5 mod... but recently their wallet has been a nightmare - can't deposit to cryptopia, so maybe I will give up on nist5.

How about neoscrypt - is there an SPmod that does better than hsrminer or KlausT?

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah
