Hi! News ----- Pool has switched to proportional mode, read more at swepool.net/newsBlock find promotion bonus, find a block at swepool and receive a nice bonus of 0.5 btc!Info ----- * Payment type is now pay-per-share as a try to increase amount of users. Current compensation is 0.000081077523877986 btc/share which is 2.2% better than deepbit. We take all the risk, you get all the btc! * Server is based in sweden and should be far superior to US servers for all you who live in EU. Server is now updated to a redundant professional hosted! This should resolve all downtime issues. * Luck dont matter here, you always get (very close to) expected payout. Many other pools advertise that they pay for invalid blocks and such stuff, at swepool you get paid whatever the block is invalid or not found at all. * We (of course) support Long-Polling * (Really) INSTANT payout, you dont even have to wait for a block solve * JSON-API, access it via https://swepool.net/json?key=your_api_key or without key https://swepool.net/json* SSL for your security * Email notifier, notifys you via email if your miner stops working. * Visit web site at https://swepool.net/Feel free to ask any questions!

Hi! I just want to announce a new bitcoin-pool: Swepool! The pool utilizes the share-model and doesnt charge fees. Approx. total hashspeed is 10GHash/s. You may visit the webpage at http://swepool.no-ip.org/index-enAfter registering, point your miner to swepool.no-ip.org:8337 Can you put current pool speed on your webpage? Then it can be included in http://bitcoinwatch.com/ pie chart.

As a pool contributor it would be useful to know overall pool rate and solved blocks. Thank you for supporting long-polling and no fees!

Pool-speed is going to appear on the site when I get it to work. We have one solved block this far and approx. pool-speed is 1.2GHash right now. Thanks for contributing to the pool!

Will payouts occur right after each found block, after a certain number (which?) of conformations, or…?
Cheers,

If you switch from no-ip I'd be more than glad to join the pool C'mon, a .net domain costs ~$10 (70SEK) a year. Invest!

If I were you, I'd make English the default language, with a link a the top right of each page to its swedish counterpart. You'd reach more people.

* (Really) INSTANT payout, you dont even have to wait for a block solve
That seems wrong. Transactions must be included in blocks to get confirmations. Don't they?

Only thing I could think of Or maybe since it's PPS you get paid for the share before the block is solved? Also, only 7.2% fee is ok I guess, but it would be better to write 7.8% rather then '2.2% less then Deepbit'.. might try it though..

Only thing I could think of You dont even have to wait for a block solve, I pay you as soon you submit a share (and a decent miner submits a share every 5 seconds). The language is soon going to be english as default and swedish as a choice in settings.

If the fee is 2.2% less than Deepbit, which has a 10% fee, that makes a 9.78% fee.

So now to the real question, is the smaller fee worth not being able to jump between PPS and Prop on Deepbit when the luck changes?

If the fee is 2.2% less than Deepbit, which has a 10% fee, that makes a 9.78% fee. Read the messages from dinox. He never talked about the fee, only the compensation (to the miner).
