Hi Dinox

Got a small issue here mate.  One of my miners went offline briefly.  I got it back up and the status in my swepool profile still says it's offline and at 0 MH/s but the share count is going up.

Cheers

I have been getting plenty of errors lately, so I'm switching to another pool. Is it just me?

I think he's talking about these problems:
Code:
03/06/2011 12:11:04, 2882a9d6, invalid or stale
03/06/2011 12:11:16, f3b48590, invalid or stale
03/06/2011 12:11:29, 1ef726a4, invalid or stale

03/06/2011 12:12:45, 0be8f5fb, invalid or stale
03/06/2011 12:12:45, long poll: new block 0000055b133324da
I'm not sure, but I think this is some problem with the pool, i thought it was because of my overclocking but have adjust it back and forth and still get "accepted" only about 50% of the time

Can you please ping swepool.net? You have a terribly stale-rate, I have neved seen anything like it. Its
Code:
ping swepool.net
in a console window.

Code:
PING swepool.net (213.180.92.21) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 213.180.92.21: icmp_seq=1 ttl=58 time=3.47 ms
64 bytes from 213.180.92.21: icmp_seq=2 ttl=58 time=3.55 ms
64 bytes from 213.180.92.21: icmp_seq=3 ttl=58 time=3.36 ms
64 bytes from 213.180.92.21: icmp_seq=4 ttl=58 time=3.27 ms
64 bytes from 213.180.92.21: icmp_seq=5 ttl=58 time=3.47 ms
64 bytes from 213.180.92.21: icmp_seq=6 ttl=58 time=3.57 ms

64 bytes from 213.180.92.21: icmp_seq=8 ttl=58 time=3.48 ms
64 bytes from 213.180.92.21: icmp_seq=9 ttl=58 time=3.34 ms
My speed is about 300Mhash/s and the statistics on the profile page shows 120-200 Mhash/s so I guess its about 50% stale.
haven't tried any other pool thought

Okay, ping time seems good (actually very good). What miner are you using?

Okay.. You could try another miner, it seems like it is only you who have these problems. Can you try Phoenix/Diablominer and see if you get better stale rates there?

dinox: what does your pay per-share rate translate to as a fee?

deepbit's translates to 10% I heard. So if yours is 2.2% better is it equivalent to a 9.978% fee?

Its compensation which is 2.2% better, thus swepool has a 8% fee.

Could payout please not be cut off after 0.00x. It should pay out your whole balance.

I have had people say the other way too. I'd prefer whole balance (rounded to 8 digits) like you so this is probably what we will see in future.

I've basically stopped mining since the reward is too low for me now. How do I get the "fractions" out from this pool?
