Seems more like they possibly aren't enforcing the ITO rules. There wasn't supposed to be any trading and 850 target was set.

It seems clear to me that Bittrex is not following the ITO rules.

I wasn't watching the trades. I figured I'd wait until a day or two afterward to see how it all went. All the drama going around was a bit dis-tasteful, so I looked away.

Quote
ITO is complete, the funds were obtained withing the ITO time frame of 7 days

I have no opinion about Bittrex, yet. Not really looking to point fingers and call 'foul'.

and Bittrex should now be consider to be part of the FUD campaign.  IMO

Long live DAN and Blocknet

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

They may not be following the rules, But they are being fair to their customers
They agreed on the rules based on the assumption that other exchanges would do the same, so now they are only being fair to there customers.
Anyway blocknet will survive this same as they did with the paid FUD

No exchange followed ITO rules. That is the reason to avoid them with ITO. Polo enabled trading, bter enabled it too for moments... And trex has to protect his investors by putting up the buy wall. If we didn't have coingateway, this project would be doomed in first few hours.

People need to stop claiming that Poloniex didn't follow the rules. The Blocknet team knew that Poloniex's policy is not to host IPOs and that they only allow open market trading.

Multiple people have been making false claims against Poloniex here. If you read what Synechist himself has written he has in fact made it clear that they made a mistake, not Poloniex.

Where can be the exact figures found how much BTC is sold across all four sources, Poloniex, BTER, Bittrex, CoinGateway? There is only partial info:
- Poloniex = 38 BTC
- BTER = ?
- Bittrex = 282 BTC left, refund still in progress
- CoinGateway = ?
Can anyone fill in the blanks with data?

Poloniex + Bittrex = 320 BTC, so BTER + CoinGetway should raise 850 - 320 = 530 BTC, have they met this goal?

They may not be following the rules, But they are being fair to their customers
the problem is they had different rules than polo which they weren't aware of. They followed the rules exactly as block et laid out.....

The problem is that we still do not have bittrex unsold block address and that people can still deposit bitcoin buy higher and dump on the sell wall.

The problem is that we still do not have bittrex unsold block address and that people can still deposit bitcoin buy higher and dump on the sell wall.

You keep saying that as though anyone would bother wasting their time and money doing so.

Nobody from SuperNET appears to care about this scandal-hit ITO and Block is so very far from having anything of substance to show for itself, there's little concern about it from their side.

So who would be motivated enough to burn btc in order to stop this ITO from reaching the 850btc needed?

Do you not think that it's simply a large number of returns being made by people who have changed their mind? Why keep kidding yourself it is anything other than the one thing it is most likely to be?

It seems clear to me that Bittrex is not following the ITO rules.  ITO is complete, the funds were obtained withing the ITO time frame of 7 days and Bittrex should now be consider to be part of the FUD campaign.

Bittrex are doing the right thing by ensuring that people who bought before the scandalous allegations were made public can reverse their decision without feeling like they were conned into buying into a project they no-longer believe is what it claims to be.

That there may have been more than 850BTC raised prior to the buywall is irrelevant, because only the total BTC that remains after the buyback period has ended actually count as being willingly invested.

This is incorrect. Bittrex's buyback period has nothing to do with the smear campaign.

Bittrex explicitly states that the buyback period is because of trading being enabled on Poloniex. That is all.

I like the idea posted a page back or so.  All future projects (i.e. XC INC) should just be carried out on Coingateway.  They handled everything the best of all the sites.

Hello !!  I'm new in this thread and I don't undestund couple of things. For example: what are these tokens for? Why should I buy them? Will there be any benefit in the future? Can someone explain it to me? I'll be really grateful Smiley
