Maaaaaaaaarrrttyyyyyy?

I've just cut my hashrate at projectx by 70%, I was getting a reject rate somewhere around 12% for the shares I was submitting here over the past half hour or so. Will be monitoring the situation with a couple of gigahash until things improve enough for me to bring some more hashing back.

it was another pool, that was super slow.

BTW, I fixed the payouts.  I was almost paid out all of the 25th and I figured that 35btc for 30ghs was not right.  First, the 25-29 all had the 29 as the end of work for each day.  So, after I paid 2-3x in one day, I redid the formulas. No estimations and the data is accurate.  Also, I will keep the rate for as long as i can.

Cool, I want to start pointing workers your way again, it's just difficult for me to point the amount of hashing I was sending to projectX when I can't even tell how much I'm owed and I have no timeline on getting paid.

I'll point 6Ghash/s or so your way in the morning, the rest will come back when things are a bit less crazy.

You need to set your miners up so they are start it and forget it. I have montoring and email and remote VPN and KVM. I rarely touch my boxes they just fix themselves. If the hash rates drop they go to another pool, if the pools go down they go solo. In the last 3 months I left for 3 weeks out of town and spent 2 weeks in the hospital, and my guys kept right on going. I had to kick one box over because a fan failed, and it was still going just throttled.

Got about 13BTC worth of payments, so I'm putting significant hashes towards ProjectX again.

Good to have you back marty  Wink

Hey marty, I keep getting dropouts "not providing work fast enough" when passing work to you - I briefly had quite a large amount of hashrate going through to projectx - is this an EC2 problem again?
I'll pm you my provider's info if you want - they're very cheap and when I'm just hopping normally I seem to get lower rejects than your EC2 servers do by ~1-1.5%.

Same here, I've been having 10-25% of my hashrate spilling off to other pools.

it was a pool...  I never had a pool crash both servers since all the nmcbit issues a while ago.

Seems fixed.  If your rigs are efficient, I have seen a 25 ghs from a bitforce mini rig mine eu1 with < .4 rejects.  I am running 2 medium cpu intensive instances running a more stable and tweaked ubuntu server.

I hope the luck continues...only 4 days behind and closing...

It's not better.

this box should get 420mhash per gpu

the same with several of my other boxes, they feel totally handicapped. it's running 1/3-1/4 slower than it was over the past few days.

5 seconds after switching to abcpool as a backup

Had projectX set as my failover whilst doing a big contract, now I'm pointing ~6Gh/s of FPGAs your way and nothing is showing on the live stats.

My address is the one beginning with 1AgK7 - you can see I had 30Gh/s going your way for a while, should be about 6Gh/s now.

^Bizarrely, my server also occasionally sent you shares with usernames belonging to my other contracts  Cheesy

What's your plan for dealing with ASICs when they arrive?
From what I can see, the setup we both use won't scale at all well to ASIC hashrates, particularly if pools are no longer serving difficulty-1 shares...
Will you be shutting down or continuing operation?

How come? As far as I can see, as long as you have the hardware, there's still a fair bit of profit in mining.
