Specially in them there new fangled plastic pop guns.. Glocks methinks they call em..
Glock owner here. They make really nice firearms. I believe it was only the .40 cal 1st generation models (early 90s?) that had a problem. Since then, they are just as reliable as any other manufacturer. I know plenty of family, close friends, LEO, and retired military that are quite happy with their Glocks, and have never had any issues. The pic you posted is an obviously mistreated pistol. It's dirty, and I think I can see some rust.

The "plastic pop guns" that you want to stay away from is mainly Hi Point.

If someone would make an auto handgun that has three barrels...

Getting close...

Looks like a disaster waiting to happen...

I'd imagine the force of combustion in both chambers at once will eventually, if not immediately, crack that steel.

For a large caliber, yeah I would be worried about the same thing. But what MoonShadow was wanting was for a very small caliber, 22LR which seems doable. The hardest part would be the mechanism for loading and case ejection, from 3 barrels simultaneously.

I've seen that video before, the first time I saw it reminded me of the time my 90 lb nephew wanted to shoot my 7mm rem. mag. M77 (light rifle, high energy round ,small kid).  He recoiled about as far as these guys are from the JDJ, lol.

Can you guys toss me some ideas for a new 9mm pistol? I'm looking for something thats not a glock or a taurus, something tactical, reliable, accurate, and inexpensive. Maybe a nice carry size 9mm would be ideal.

I'm seriously considering buying a Ruger LC9.  Its a subcompact, but perfect for CCW in the summer.

I already have a Sig P228 (compact), but I'd like something a lil smaller.

If you want a full size, you can't really go wrong with the Beretta 92..

I have to say that I'm a proud owner of Ruger's LCP .380 and I love it. I have an IWB leather holster that i can tuck in almost anything. The gun is so light that I can clip the holster inside basketball shorts or something without a belt and it stays exactly where it needs to.

I don't own a beretta, so that might be a good option.

Nice on the LCP.

Why do you want a fullsize 9mm?

Why not a .40 (.357 sig) or .45, or get crazy with 10mm or 9x23..
