why pink is frozen at poloniex?

They must have froze it temporarily to change the Ticker Symbol from PC to PINK. It's taken them over 6 months to do that lol. They must have brought it back online tho cuz PINK is rocking hard on Poloniex just fine as of 5 minutes ago. All I had to do was generate a new wallet, I didn't have any coins on Poloniex when they changed the Ticker tho. Not sure if that would have mattered or not.

I know its been awhile since Pink.wars has been used/discussed, but I had a balance of PINK still on the site when it was taken down for maintenance and it's not letting me log in to withdraw them. The user name and password request options are not working either.

Any updates? How do I withdraw my coins at this point?

Thanks.

Like 100k or something. Nothing I couldn't lose, but would like to retrieve them.

We still have all balances and accounts, but the system has been locked up. If you want to provide me with a Pink address, or send me a message on Twitter I will get you your coins.

Wheezy asked me in a personal message to stop in here and drop an update for everyone.

We have made solid progress on all things, and have been building a good reliable brand and name for Pinkcoin during these quiet times. Our new foundation grows bigger and bigger in scope almost every day, the most recently added engine to the list is explorer.pink. So we currently have most systems done and running themselves and our currently putting them all together.

Wallet.pink and exchange.pink have been flawlessly running together for the Seedcoin Staking Multipool which pays out in Pinkcoin. Everything in the process is 100% completely automated through the .pink foundation, right down to us receiving emails if a hot wallet is getting low and in need of a top up.

On top of all the systems coming together quite well, we recently got everything we need in place to start accepting Fiat for crypto. It is something we overlooked, and came as a great blessing in a time of need. Over the last week we ripped PwP apart back down to the bare bones, and have rewritten it to accommodate and simplify our new ability to accept Fiat. For now, until we can get some more licenses, it will all be run through PayPal for conversions (fees suck we know), but it will allow PwP to track all transactions, do the in house conversions automatically and deliver invoices.

Like I said on Twitter, if your not a millionaire yet you are going to miss out on some amazing times. This is the moment for filling your shelves with Pink at wholesale prices in my opinion. Please, show your support for all the hard work the Pinkcoin team has been doing while it may appear to be quiet. Buy some Pink and start staking, buy a Seedcoin staking wallet which pays out 16% off 10000 Seed or even help spread awareness of the exciting things to come. Follow me for updates or any of the team if the forum is a little to quiet for you.  My handle is @GotCrypto

Warning though... I tweet alot about Pink and tend to give out alot of tickets and tips!

I want to know more about it in general. What is it exactly? How does it work? What is the benefit? What is the reward? Should I do it? What is the purpose?
You know, everything.
Thanks,

Well proof of stake is holding coins in your wallet on your pc.  They earn 1% interest with Pink, some coins like Seed earn up to 16% interest.   You don't have to leave your computer running just turn it on every now and then and let your wallet catch up to the block chain and it will earn staking income.  If you were to leave it running 24/7 your earned stakes will add to the total and be that much more staking so this is a way to achieve maximum earnings.

What I would do is download the latest wallet and get it synced fully.  Send a small amt of coins to ensure no issues once received send your full amt purchased.  Once you have deposited everything you want to stake you need to encrypt your wallet via the drop down menu in the wallet.   Make sure you don't lose this long password or you lose your coins forever.   Once encrypted ypu will need to restart your wallet and again in the drop down menu unlock the wallet for mining only.  Note the checkmark for unlocking for this purpose only.  Really all that is needed is patience now.  It will take a few days to build up your network weight and you will get confused by time till payout which is not to accurate.   No coin is from what I see and I have 6 wallets staking.   Lastly make sure you back up your wallet, I back mine up to my email and the cloud.   You never know if your puter kicks it and you need the keys to your wallet.  What else...

Basicly this is an energy efficient way of mining which keeps the farms away.  The more coins you have the more you earn in interest.  Feel free to use the Pink block explorer and look at how much certain wallets earn with what amt of coins.  It's all there to see.

I think I got most of it if there is something else I'm sure someone will post it soon.  All of us in the Pink community use Slack now so if your ready to join buy some Pink and ask for an invite.  There are also special privileges to those who hold a Million consistently.

Hope this helps!

I have some Pink already so I will look into your directions, which seem  straight forward.
I'm not familiar with Slack but I'll look that up too.
Thanks.

You do not need an account for a wallet to Sync.
Did you download the light or standard version?
Are you Mac/Windows?

Would it simply not sync and display not synced? or did it get stuck?
In the bottom right of your wallet, if you hover over the little network (like wifi) symbol in the bottom right, how many connections are you showing?

Sorry for the delayed response, we will get you synced and staking, and then send some Pink for a little boost start Wink Be patient, we'll get it.

Thank you for letting us know, we had a server reset on us. I will get to the poker site shortly. Hopefully I do not have to recreate all the tables Sad If I do, it may be down for a few days. My apologies and thank you for letting us know.

Here's a screen shot. Comp has been connected for over 48 hrs and wallet is showing No Network Connections.
I'm using standard Mac v2.0
Comp is connected to internet
Network Settings for the wallet may need adjustment?
Let me know what else I can try.
Thanks.
