Clone has been decided and new wallet and fork underway. From what I understad this will be a smooth transition to the new Pinkcoin, simply open up your new wallet contain your balance! No need for a swap with a third party like an exchange! Amazing work I must say. Graphics are underway and slowly but surely we will get to launch day and the #donate4life campain. Mobile wallet on the horizon along with some other goodies... Thank you to current developers for all the hard work thus far! Stay tuned....  |

Well folks its time to upgrade the coin to something that suits our goals as a go to coin for fundraising. There is lots of discussion over in Slack and it would be a shame to not have all those who have vested interest in the coin to have a say in the process. Unfortunately it is hard to have the conversation on multiple platforms so this is a brief update of sorts. Current plans are to re-issue a new coin with the desired coin age restrictions staking % and algo to something that supports the act of buy, hold, stake, donate.... IE: the donate4life campaign which is a one time purchase that donates for life. New wallet, graphics and mobile are key requests in the process and are being discussed daily. Feel free to dm for invite or up up @pinkcoin_ for an invite to the slack channels. That being said...
We have a developer on board and are very close to pulling the trigger so please stop by, leave a message. Exciting times ahead!
Do you have any evidence for this? Last time I checked there was barely any discussion on the slack channel. What happened to the developers? Who is still coding on the project? |

@amedbodi is coding our new coin and @meta is working on the wallet. Unfortunately school and jobs have made the procedure slower than we like but it is definitely going forward. We do see you pop in from time to time, hope we can help satisfy some of your concerns the next time you stop by.
@Cryptorox and @Tranzium are hard at work releasing awesome updates to the Autoview program which is very near to being a flat out atm for pinkcoin buy support.
So again unfortunately things are coming together a little slower than one would like but we are all definitely here and working hard when life allows.
Myself, I am trying to spearhead the project in the current direction and am always open to feedback. I am the creator of the pinkcoin.ca site and most vocal member of the team currently.
Recently we added a quick way to top up your twitter acct with credit and debit via PayPal.
58 new followers this week alone and our first donations trickling in... the snowball is forming hopefully.
What we need is for all of you to start tipping 50/50 tickets and help get the word out about #donate4life.
Back to work tonight as I plan to add some links to men's breast cancer research as well. Definitely something I was not aware of but really should be part of our plans.

I would love to change the original post but we have had a hard time contacting Sony. Will keep trying as he is still a big holder and has done a fantastic job for us in the past. I envision the exact same thing for the coin and hopefully towards the middle of the year when our new coin is launched with mobile wallets we can start the retail segment of our plans. I really see a spot for us in sports with the Pink campain already being embraced. Our 50/50 is tailored for this and could save some teams alot of money in labor costs in stadium etc.... It would also allow for the home viewer to participate and really kick up those jackpots. So many possibilities with this amazing brand... |

Working on it as it costs upwards of 600 dollars and we are looking to raise the funds to keep these guys from infringement. So far they are being very disrespectful with blatant lies about not knowing about us to using our ticker in their failing crowdsale. With raising funds for the new coin etc...things are getting a bit expensive for our pace. Even with the trademark we would then need to pay lawyer fees etc... to enforce cease and desist.
I have been very upset with the theft of our name/brand. It has definitely lit a fire under our ass to say the least.

If this would be openly discussed on bitcointalk you might find support for the trademark. It would make PinkCoin more valuable. |

Excellent point slack is a wonder tool but really closes you off to other communities. Some of the other team got really tired of this place, which in hindsite may not be such a wise decision. I will try harder to stay active here and give a nudge to the others as well.
