Yeah , As our understanding and willing is simple for the bitcoin but in reality the bitcoin is really a secret for the governments of the many countries . Since few of the countries accepted bitcoin as legal and Trusted way for the payment but few of them banned , so here the future of the bitcoin is in some miserable condition where bitcoin needed to be supports by the all countries . So here your government didn't declared bitcoin as a good thing and officially declare that the bitcoin use is allows in that country legally . In this way the bitcoin can easily grow . |

Well, I hope that bitcoin is able to change into a better economic system, making people more creative in making money, and reducing unemployment. I think bitcoin will realize it all in a few years to come.
Bitcoin has already reduced the rate of unemployment in third world countries where people are earning a good living only from bitcoins so even if they don't have a job they don't have to worry as bitcoin is taking best care of them. |

I also sew on TV news how drug dealers used dark web to order drugs and paid with bitcoin. Because of such news many people are very skeptic about bitcoin. I don't think that it's realistic that bitcoin becomes official currency anywhere because of luck of any control, decentralization etc. Bitcoin will remain just as alternative to official currencies and it's all. |

Yes agree, bitcoin depends popularity, bitcoin must explore and adopt by big world companies such as google, yahoo or microsoft. if like it, too difficult if accept to the government. is already accepting bitcoins. Has it changed anything? I hardly think so. Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft might all start accepting bitcoins but they are not going to promote it at all. They are not going to persuade people to use bitcoins. They will still focus on their own products although these large companies accepting bitcoins will serve as an announcement to non-bitcoin users that such thing exists. I'm still thinking that it's Amazon or Ebay which should accept bitcoin as a payment method so people will realize how big the fees they are paying when using Paypal. Those that have the time will surely research about bitcoin and use it instead. |

The future of Bitcoin really depends the outside factors (which means us people). Bitcoin won't go too far if it weren't for us, luckily the acceptance of it gave it a worldwide attention enough to make some countries' government take action. With that being said the government has an important role for its future as well because if it make Bitcoin legal in their country it will be followed by businesses that will accept it. Bitcoin is a great concept we just need to support it in terms of legality and acceptance.
The government have to make some announcement first before legalizing bitcoin gets some effect. Bitcoin is totally legal right now because otherwise, most people wouldn't be here. I haven't seen a thread linking to a video about someone getting arrested because he used bitcoins or because he's accepting bitcoin as a payment method. Or by government making bitcoin legal, did you mean that the government is declaring bitcoin as an official currency? I don't think it will ever happen since the coin is unregulated, decentralized, and it totally opposes their ways. |

Please stop being dumb. He's not talking about bitcoin alone but the whole bitcoin world. There's tons of bitcoin companies out there here on the Internet. Hasn't fiat reduced the unemployment rate? Without money, everyone will just be lurking around, talking to each other, doing trivial stuffs, etc. or we can also imagine chaotic stuffs like everyone will be killing each other for survival. I think what he was trying to say was that a lot of people from third world countries used to do nothing at all. But with bitcoin, a lot of opportunities opened. As a student, I can only make money while at home. It will be extremely tiring for me to have a part time job since I'm already exhausted by the time I get home from school. Since there's bitcoins and a lot of bitcoin companies are out there, I had the opportunity to make money from bitcoins. Without money, everyone will be unemployed. Imagine a world without fiat. |

yes that is right, that the future of bitcoin is depending on the popularity of bitcoin users and their interested in bitcoin. if they are interested in bitcoin and are investing their money here then bitcoin will have bright future. Yes the future of bitcoin will depend on its demand and the number of users using bitcoins and if people will stop using bitcoins then only it will be having an threat of getting disappeared but I don't think that will ever happen in near future. Other than the demand for bitcoins, it also depends on the usage of bitcoin in the society and key business. It depends on how the govt. will react to the adoption of bitcoins in the society. |

At first, I'm having hard time to do so but upon seeing others depend on it too, I say that the future of bitcoin is really great.
