After all, they ain't selling actual hashing power, they are selling numbers on their screens which they make up as they go along.

Are you guys really helping people sincerely and considering to advise to choose cloudmining.website as cloudmining operator?it's bad. For the first investment choose the most legit site you could find and I  would suggest has honest then later you can increase the risk.

Anyone who is thinking about mining right now should do some pretty serious ROI beforehand.  My least favorite thing about cloud mining is you don't own in the gear in most, this is why I have always mostly been invested into hardware.

But hardware or cloud mining is getting harder.  Look at difficulty changes: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty .  This week is not looking bad but add up changes from Jan 26 - Feb 19 and it's going to scare most any miner.

At this point only one still around most would invest is hashnest.  It is backed by Bitmain.... so not going anywhere.  It's pretty much the current safest best on cloud mining.

Although with new price of S7 with coupon... I might suggest people take a look at it and a data center vs cloud mining.  I think it's the better bet currently and you own the hardware which is nice.

think it's useful to mine some alt coins that for not to waste time you can collect from cloud mining and storage/trade.

cloud mining has a bad reputation nowadays because often what happens is that people steal your funds right as things look good. ofc not all of them are scams but you never know, so be careful and don't invest in cloud mining. Even if it is legit, the profit is miniscule and it takes maybe years to at least roi with the difficulty, and a legit service often takes out money for electricity costs, so don't do it. Use your bitcoin elsewhere.

No. They are NOT legit. A cloud mining is legit only when they are selling the hash power they have. Any cloud mining can prove it by showing their mining address(es) as well as publishing sold hash power in real time. Showing picture to owning real mining firm DOES NOT prove anything, because if you have 1 Phs and selling 10 Phs and thereby paying the people holding 9 Phs from other people's investment, you are operating a Ponzi in reality. Unfortunately NONE of the today's cloud miners show the above stated required proof to show their legitimacy. Some people still try to support them saying at least they have some hash power and other bullshits. We should NOT forget that AsicMiner to GAW miner, all had hash power, but they eventually scammed millions of dollar because they sold what they did not have.

Hence, just stay away from each and every cloud mining, unless u are desperate to try your luck in some Ponzi.

To be honest even if i will see their mining rigs and BTC addresses there always will be way to scam me.
