i have 16k coins should i even it out in different addresses or it is better if i stake with 1 address?

if i need to spread it out by how many coins should i put with 1 address?thanks!

Approximately 600 coins per address.

wont it be harder to get a reward with just 600 coins in an address? i was thinking 1k coins per address. im staking with 4k right now and i havent got any for one day and a half i think

It takes 16 hours for the coin to get matured. If you divide your coins into smaller blocks then it would stake better as compared to larger blocks with more coins. 600 is an approximation. I have kept it at 600 and its staking pretty well.

This reward isn't going smooth.Maybe because is new way with some innovation .I did every steps from instructions .I'd send all my coins to a new wallet because at main wallet was showing  reward stake 8 or 9 days in since 4 days. After resend them in 618 coins blocks my waiting time to get reward showing 16 hours or 60223 seconds since yesterday. We'll see tomorrow what is going on

Let them do it. More cheap coins for us Smiley
Well..If is that truth  that one guy bought order book for 25k BTC ,then price will drop more .Probably he ( or they ) like to make buy back at lowest price as will be possible and some day they'll
spike price to universe for they reward investment .Well...I'll hold my coins until  at list 0.09 BTC per coin  Grin

Hm...I'm already scare to ask again  Grin  For just simple. Wallet with 10,000 coins . Should be resend to  16 or 18 new addresses created in wallet  with label ( any label ) address 1........up to 16 each deposit 618 coins and all 10,000 coins will be showing  at balance. Hm...So did I'd screw again??? I send all coins to new wallet in my sec comp. After that I'd resend  them again to first wallet  in 16 or 18 blocks  each 618 coins.
But I send them to one address ( 18 times  to 1 address ) So..Looks like wasn't right way. Should I send them in 18 blocks to 18 new addresses ( stake 1.........18) ??You can ignore me if you lost your patience It's ok

Check Coin Control on the send tab.  Its probably easier to just let the wallet auto-optimize it for you, on the Staking Explorer tab there is a preferred block size field that you can set to what you want.

The network weight is up to 16M now so there is more competition for stake, with a smaller amount of coins it may take you longer to win your stake, but you will get it eventually.

why do you need to split coins into alot of different address.Am i missing something.I dont really understand why you would do this.I have 270k plus in one address and use auto optimize aswell as some manually through coin control to split blocks and I my wallet stakes 5 to 6 times every hour.

I'm getting 4stakes a day with coin blocks of 500-1000 with a total of 100k. Is this very slow?

What is the "auto-optimize" thing btw. My parameters are like this. Am i doing it right?

Is anyone else having staking problems?

None of my generated blocks are valid ...

Status: conflicted
Date: 2/23/15 08:07
Source: Generated
Debit: 0.00 XQN
Net amount: -9999.98 XQN
Generated coins must mature 510 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

@cryptodance:

Check if you have the latest wallet & let us know if you're on Mac (IIRC, the Mac wallet wasn't updated post fork yet).
If you already have the latest, check if your computer date & time are correct. Good luck!

I have leave this coin for the only reason it will stay low for a moment.  possibility are good, that's true, but its more like a test coin from dev than something serious. Staking rate is damn high and we need too much BTC to support this, and for what offer, better buy coin with an high dev activity than this semi-sleepy coin

Sometime is good to know when to go out

Good luck boys

I am using the Mac OSX wallet downloaded from the http://www.quotientcoin.com/ site a few days ago. Not sure why I am getting the staking conflicts.

That is the trouble cryptodance.

The Mac wallet has not been updated since the early fork that changed the staking rules, and so any stake you produce will be rejected by the network. If you can compile your own for Mac from source, you are good to go. If not, then you really need to look at running your wallet on some alternative system (Win, Linux or Android) for the time being, until an updated Mac wallet is posted.

They are indeed really cheap. Easy 50% to take, maybe 100% i'm talking short term here, as longer term it can maybe hit 200 %

Thanks myagui. I will run it on Win. Android is preferred; however, I do not know how to run it on my Android phone.
